I have seen Dr. Frattiani twice and the first he was friendly but it was a short routine«let’s get your bloodwork done and come back.» I came back but before I did they moved offices and I got lost getting there. The receptionist didn’t give me the correct directions and forgot to mention a street so I was wandering around looking and feeling uptight upon arrival. Then when I met Dr. Frattiani he didn’t have any of the results I had brought in the 1st visit and then he discovered as he was explaining the results that the lab didn’t do some important hormonal tests, which is one of the reasons I was seeing him! Now, I have to give blood again and wait a few more weeks. I had heard good things about Dr. Frattiani from some friends but, overall, I am disappointed.

Not sure why this is listed under dermatologist when the doctor is an osteopath. Nevertheless I like the doctor, but not the staff. Here’s why: 1) Phone edicate lacks. When talking to them I get the feeling everything I say or do is wrong and my fault. 2) Staff never follows up. Leaving a message for the doctor is next to impossible. Nothing ever happens and I have to call back and hope someone answers the phone, Even then it’s a toss-up if the message will be relayed. 3) On more than one occasion the pharmacy has called me telling me they can’t get a call-back for a refill. When I call the office the staff talks to me as if it’s my fault and won’t call the pharmacy back. 4) they claim to have left messages about my insurance coverage when they clearly have not. For that matter neither has the insurance company called. I’m not going to put up with this much longer. When you spend your money somewhere, at the very least one should expect to be talked to pleasantly. Having the staff being the tiniest bit grateful your is money is keeping them employed — I guess some people don’t get it. 5 Stars for the doctor because he’s good at explaining and answering questions but zero for the staff. BTW — He’s no longer at Sea Ridge Rd.

I went to Dr. Frattiani to have some growths burned off. I had been assured by my primary physician they were benign and would never be dangerous. Dr. Frattiani said of the largest growth that he was concerned and wanted to do a biopsy, but his nurse said they didn’t have time that day. Biopsy sounded to me like a way for him to make more money, so I asked if he couldn’t just burn them off. He agreed to do so, which he wouldn’t have if he thought there was really a problem. After he burned off the growths, he asked me if I wanted to lose weight and recommended a diet that involves injections of human growth hormone. I couldn’t believe that a dermatologist was advising me on weight loss, and I was highly suspicious of the diet he recommended. I looked it up on the Mayo clinic site and . Both said there was absolutely no evidence that human growth hormone caused weight loss, and both called it a quack diet that was probably dangerous.(It also involved eating a 500-calorie-a-day diet, which is below starvation level. Probably explains any weight loss that occurs.) Dr. Frattiani is very charming and spends a lot of time with you, but I do NOT recommend him.

We have been seeing Dr. Fratianni for years off and on due to changes in insurance. He is such a great physician. He is very knowledgeable and is always willing to take all the information about diagnosis into consideration. I highly recommend him, especially if you are having issues getting a diagnosis for your symptoms.

Dr. Frattiani is an exceptionally good physician. He takes a lot of time listening to the patient and formulates a plan of care with the patient. He always orders lab work appropriately, and uses medications as needed. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Fratianni is an osteopathic physician, and as such takes a holistic approach but seems to stay up on the latest research, especially in mitigating the effects of aging. He always spends a generous amount of time with me, and seems to really care about his patients. I have used him as my primary care provider for more than 5 years and he has taught me a great deal about caring for myself.

Dr. Fratianni is truley a healer and cares for your well-being. Not an in-and-out doc for sure.
