I just had one of the Best burgers since Joe’sCablecar shut down 3 years ago in San Francisco. The buttered bun was a treat and then the juicy flavourfull grass fed beef blew my head off like the
good I had 2. A wonderful chocolate shake and great chili cheese fries. The atmosphere and employees are way yourself a favour and stop by.

At this point, I need to update my review on this place because I’m not satisfied with the quality anymore. The actual size of a burger is horrible; pretty much something off the dollar menu at McDonald’s. For that and a thing of curly fries and a soda it’s $ 15. And not even a choice of how big a soda; just one small size. This is a pathetic scam and I will not be spending money anymore here.

Spencer!!! You are quite the gentleman. Best hospitality I’ve experienced in my life was from yourself. Burgers damn lucky to have you!

Terrible service. Ordered 3 burgers and milkshakes. Waited 30 minutes. Asked about our order and found our milkshakes sitting and melting behind the counter. Was told another 10 minutes for our food. 15 minutes later, still no food as I’m writing this post. This place sucks. We won’t be back. So we finally got our food at 50 minutes after ordering. First thing my son finds is a 6 inch long blond hair tossed in his French fries! When I went to complain, I waited behind another woman who had been waiting so long for food she had to leave. The manager finally made contact with us. She replaced the fries and offered to refund his meal. She said they were short 3 employees. If they had told me it was a 45 minute wait for our food when we arrived, we could have chosen to go elsewhere. This place is a hot mess!

I’ve been to Burger period several times and it’s always been a perfectly adequate burger experience. The burger patties themselves are just a half step up from fast food quality, but their unique and creative toppings make up for the poor burger. I’ve tried a variety of their offerings and the unusual combinations all work quite well. The food itself is consistent and keeps me coming back for a burger fix. That being said… The parking at this place is horrible. The lot is small, but beyond that it’s so strangely laid out that it’s almost impossible to get out if you enter the lot and find it full. I’ve been stuck several times just praying someone leaves. On top of that, their service leaves something to be desired. My boyfriend and I stood at the counter for several minutes while at least 4 other employees were standing around. We made direct eye contact with each several times and none seemed eager to take our order. Eventually, a guy I think was the manager(he was training someone) turned and told us the cashier was running food(isn’t that what servers are for?) And then turned back around. My bf and I sorta mumbled under our breaths about service. He must have heard because he turned around and sort of exhasperatrly started taking our order. Just then the cashier showed up and the manager couldn’t even be bothered to finish our order and just had the cashier step in. To top it off, the cashier started chatting to the bartender as we were signing the receipt and didn’t even acknowledge us as we walked off. Downright horrible service, perfectly acceptable food.

Yum! Had a fantastic burger here tonight and I have to say, this is the ONLY restaurant anywhere where I recommend the cole slaw over the fries. It’s really really good and a great complement to the burger.

This is our first time at Burger but it will not be our last. The menu is impressive with very creative burgers. My husband had the Johnny Cash and loved it. Said it was one of the best burgers he has ever had. I went with the East LA Dog and was not disappointed. Hot dog wrapped in bacon with grilled onions and grilled jalapeño. The chocolate milkshake was made with vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate syrup. It was fantastic. This is a no frills kind of place. Order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. If you are looking for solid food this is the place to be.

My husband and I went to burger a couple months ago it was great so we of course had to come back what a disappointment the food was cold and lacked flavor. When we told the girl at the counter she seemed to act as though cold food was normal she even told me how she had ordered food the night before that came out cold no offers to remake our food or anything! We won’t be coming back here!

The last time I went here, not only was the service terrible, the food was disgusting. First, the building is dark. The kids working here don’t care about the customers they are just listening to loud music chatting and joking with each other. The last time I was there, I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with«grilled» onions and tatertots. The tots were cold. The sandwich was disgusting. Again, cold, tasted like crap and NOT worth the boat load I paid for it. Not a fan of this restaurant. Won’t be returning.

Vegans and vegetarians: come in on Mondays for discounted Mike D vegi burgers. You can also get the Hank Williams done vegan which is apparently very popular.

Went to Burger expecting to have a good experience. I have been to Burger on mission and it much better. To start walking into the restaurant is very awkward. There is no one to greet you and it is very unwelcoming. We had a large group and say in the small back room. There was no one to help move tables as well as one member in our party had to ask for a rag to wipe down the table. The young girl at he cash register wasn’t able to answer all of our questions without going to the guy behind her who had to go to the chef. It was an inconvenience she. We tried to order wine from her and she said that was not her job to serve drinks. The salads came way after the burgers and all the food was sub par. When we were leaving two young girls stood at the register and bar and were chit chatting as they snacked on food. Very unprofessional. As I would have guessed all the employees were too distracted from the tv, the food, and the latest gossip to thank and acknowledge is as we left Ps. Do not order the tater tots they are way to filled and did not even taste good.

This place rocks! First off the name is «Burger» — and they nail that and then some. Tons of choices and everything we have tried has been great. There is a huge selection of beer to go with the equally large/creative burger concoctions. There is a downstairs patio area with a giant sized connect four game — great place to stash the kids. If I lived near by, I would probably never leave.

We love this place. First few trips last year were subpar but wow now we go all the time. Fun outdoor patio for dogs and kids and games. Great beers. Paleo friendly lettuce wraps. Gluten free buns. Mini burgers for kids and delicious shakes that are giant! Employees are super super nice Love this place. I crave it weekly!!!

It was a cool atmosphere with a really fun menu. A lot of creative types of burgers. The number card for your food is actually celebrity mug shots, which is pretty funny. They also have a great variety of beers on tap. I had the burger with mac and cheese inside. I wish I could say it was amazing, but it was honestly just an average burger, and on the smaller side. The fries were also average. Not a bad place, just nothing to rave about.

When I walked in at first I honestly stood there wondering when we were going to be seated. I quickly figured it’s the kind of place where you seat yourself, order at the register and they give you a «number» and deliver the food. The«number» is actually a picture of a famous person. We had lil’ wayne. The food was delivered very quickly. I’d say under 10 minutes for two burgers and two orders of fries. The only snag was that my side of ranch wasn’t delivered upon arrival with food, but after mentioning it to the server she quickly diffused the situation. No stars lost, she politely apologized and was quick on her feet for my ranch order. Hey! It happens most of the time at other restaurants too. Dunno why ranch is just a forgetful thing. Just a heads up to anyone who might want to order a burger and beer togethor. The bar is separate from the restaurant. So you’ll have to make two separate transactions. Kind of a bummer if you were expecting everything to be all-in-one. I’d also like to mention they had some great background music playing. Props to whomever the dj was that night.

The beer was cold. Bartender was nice but that’s it. The main item on the menu is «burger« My Bluto brutas was overlooked and dryer than a popcorn fart. Couldn’t even fry an egg properly. Burned the shit outta that too. Overcooked and I’ll bet the fry cook smashed the flavor outta it with his/her spatchala. Forget the beer and the screaming kids. GOTOWENDYS

I like the ambiance of this location but the food on Mission was better. Burgers are good, salad is good, fries are good, shakes are okay but avoid the hot dog at all costs. My son complained that it tasted funny and only took one bite. I sampled it and it reminded me of something that had been spinning in a hot dog warmer at a 7 – 11 for one too many days. He was excused from having to eat it. He nibbled on his garlic fries with joy until he started yelling that the hot dog smell was making him sick. Even moving it off of his plate didn’t help. He made noises like he was going to toss his fries. We had to leave in a hurry to get him fresh air. The kids made me promise to never bring them back. Too bad. It was a fun environment but not a fun experience.

The restaurant is large and has good outdoor seating. It is very clean as well. Service is very good too. There’s plenty of parking in the front. The burger wasn’t too good. The meat was dry and the bun tastes as if they took it out the fridge and slapped your patty on it then served it. It’s also over priced for the quality. I’ll try it again, maybe it was a fluke.

This restaurant is a nice laid back spot appropriate for adults kids and dogs on a Saturday afternoon. Nice outdoor rating areas. It’s a self service spot with friendly wait staff. It’s about the burger which is starts as a ¼ lb patty fried. Then the differences: buns are fresh not huge. Many varieties, all available with beef turkey or vegetarian. I had the Dude with bacon jack cheese and avocado. Others had the turkey Sarah Silverman sliders, and vegetarian double: Dolly Parton. Nice variety and variations to the basic burger. The shakes: salted Carmel shake was basically a vanilla ice milk shake with a squirt of Carmel. There were MANY beers on tap. It was good and the included basic fries or slaw is a plus. Rationalizes the extra buck or two for the meal.

Okay fans, this is a beer and burger joint and not a $ 15 gourmet burger metro place. The beer selection is amazing, food is pretty good. The one and two stars here don’t get the business model. It’s a casual place to enjoy good beer, good food and get over if it ain’t the slick metro SF City place. Personally I like the surly attitude.
