Carpet King

Had my carpets cleaned last week and they look great. First time I used Carpet King and was very pleased with the service, Victor was professional and pleasant. I have had my carpets cleaned by a few other companies before and Carpet King got my carpets the cleanest. Plan to use them again.

I recently had an antique Kilim rug cleaned by Carpet King. The rug came back gorgeous and fresh, so if you need a carpet cleaned, I would recommend them.
However, the price charged was different from the price quoted. This isn’t a terribly big deal, however, if they had taken the time to measure the carpet when I dropped it off, we wouldn’t have had this potentially problematic customer service situation.
I also asked about rug pads. The price I was quoted was obscene, about $ 140 for a 5 by 9 rug. I immediately went to Overstock and picked one up for under $ 40. Although Carpet King has been in business for a long time and probably do well, every small business should know the difference between their core business and required mark-​up, and add-​on items provided at reasonable prices to clients. Those add-​ons are how you secure loyal customers.
Also, some guy was in the back yelling on the phone the whole time. Not very professional, and not the energy I need when I’m just trying to pick up a rug.

Carpet King does a great job. I have several rentals and every year for the last 8 years or so, they have performed miracles by making carpets I had given up for dead, with stains everywhere, looking like brand new.
They are not inexpensive, but they are darn good.
