We are in a travel baseball tournament there Sunday so checked out the field today. We were not impressed. Fields seem in poor shape with no real restrooms or concession stands available. It seems there must be a better place for tournaments in Santa Cruz county. Delaviega Park was nice today but only 2 fields.

Santa Cruz, CA
Best park in the county! Baseball diamond and multiple soccer fields, ample parking, very large and clean dog park with a large space for small dogs (under 25 lbs), walking path around the entire park, bags for picking up after your dog, and very few picnic tables. Plenty of shady areas and the lawns are well maintained. There are several port-​o-​potties around. At least some of our tax dollars are going for something useful. The park opens at 7am and closes at sunset with the parking lot locked.
