I was referred to Dr Bernstein by a friend. I was in severe pain, radiating down my shoulder and arm. I had been to an acupuncturist and a chiropractor-​no real relief. Dr Bernstein was friendly, welcoming and diagnosed the problem right away. I had to get a MRI to confirm but sure enough, he was right.
I’ve worked with the Physical Therapist too and happy to say I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, without surgery. Since seeing Dr Bernstein I’ve referred anther friend to him.

3 years ago I herniated my back in two spots. It was the most painful thing I have endured. I met with a few doctors that only wanted to do surgery, epidurals and pain management with little optimism for me to recover fully. Well, Dr. B suggested spine med, massage, and physical therapy. I did these three things and three years later I am fully pain free! Thank you Dr. B for having confidence that I can be pain free without surgery and pills! I feel better and stronger than ever!!! And havn’t had any lower back pain in more than a year!!!

I’ve seen Dr. Bernstein for both neck and low back pain over the last year. For both conditions he has helped me significantly and promptly with both in-​office osteopathic manipulations, and by guiding me to appropriate exercise and lifestyle recommendations to prevent the condition from recurring – without requiring diagnostic tests or prescribing expensive medications. I saw him most recently after I’d flared up a 20+ year-​old rotator cuff injury replacing gutters around our house. In one treatment he resolved the flare-​up and my neck and shoulder felt BETTER than before my DIY project, better than they had in years! This is an old injury that never really resolved with years of chiropractic. It takes someone special to render treatment like that, and for me Dr. Bernstein has been that rare doctor that combines astute diagnosis with skillful hands and an ability to identify what I will actually respond best to, rather than just running me through a pre-​set protocol in the minimum time possible. Was over charged by three times the original estimate, told $ 125
charged $ 375 the 1^st time, Maybe it’s a shame on me for going back for a follow up but stupid me I did. The second time they told me $ 125 to $ 150.00 and then billed me $ 175.
It seems like that the front office is playing by a different set of rules than the DR The problem was he allowed them to overcharge me, plus his
sevice stunk. My RATING is a BIG ZERO for this guy.
