Prices are higher than Walmart across the street, but good customer service allows you to get my business. I sense others have an axe to grind, but the good service I experience I received today warrants a good review.

I have no complaint about shopping in this store. DELIVERY, that’s another issue altogether. I purchased a refrigerator online and confirmed my morning delivery for today. I took half a day off work and cancelled my a.m. appts. It is now 3:21 pm and NO delivery. No assistance over the phone. I have to clear my afternoon appointments to wait … and wait. «FREE» Delivery has already cost me an entire days work. AND no appliance… I’m still waiting… * 6:15PM… still waiting… * Called 1 – 800 number and got some relief. The refrigerator will be delivered tonight! ETA, unknown. 8:46 pm … still waiting… P. S. my four coolers have long since ran out of ice. I have been ‘on call’ since 8 am for this delivery. Cannot go out to get ice refills. All the food is now toast!!! 7:54 a.m. Delivery Manager calls. Asks if I’m going to be home today. In the interest of fairness, I was contacted by the store Manager today. He was asked me to suggest a remedy. We came to a mutually agreeable amount($) that satisfied us both.

The store is typical and we shop there a lot. My complaint is with customer service. We were charged for a part of installation service that was not needed, based on the estimate. The installer agreed we were owed a refund. The store said they would refund to our Lowe’s credit card. We’ve left messages 4 times and no one calls back. Still no credit. Person we need to speak to is always in a meeting or not available.
