I’m usually a very patient person but this was beyond a waste of 30 mins of my life. I know… only 30 but still! So here was my experience at Cloudz. Me and a friend were trying to find something to do on a Saturday night and decided upon hookah. This place was close to her house so we decided to give it a try. Around 9:30 I called to ask if they have a cover and if they accept cards just to be on the safe side. I was told $ 10 and yes. Cool… we can do this. We actually didn’t get there til 11. We walk in and a guy checks our id’s tells us to have a seat and brings over menu’s. We look over them and decide and continue to talk while we wait for him to come back. About 10 mins later he comes over and says it $ 15 per hookah. I though they told me $ 10 over the phone but it was no big deal and we each order a flavor. About 5 mins after that another guy comes over and says we’re out of one flavor so my friend and I just opt for the one hookah instead. Then 10 mins later this same guy comes over and says we’re about to close in 20 mins so… do you still want the hookah? Uh, no. Hell no! We look at each other, say no at the same time, get up and leave.(Absolutely why she’s my best friend. Always on the same wave length) Mind you between the last encounter with him and that point we saw them bring out 2 hookahs to another table.(So you think I want to just give money away on top of being blind to the shenanigans? Oh, Okay) We leave out and get to the car and I just happen to look at the time…11:31pm. I mean if you didn’t want to serve us hookah that late, when we came in at 11 you could have just said we stopped serving already. Why waste time?

As soon as I walked in, the place felt like a drug cartel headquarters. The three staff members immediately approached my friend and I and looked at us in the most sketchy manner. Right off the bat they asked what flavor we wanted without even offering us a menu until we asked. The sofas and tables looked extremely old and beat up. The walls had unappealing graffiti all over them. No background music, we were the only customers in what felt like a ghost town. Plus they wanted us to pay $ 10 per person not hookah! We left asap in search of an actual hookah establishment.
