What a disappointment… Everyone told me that their hot dogs were yummy. I think that it was something I won’t get here again. The buns were hard as a rock really we got two hot dogs and they were both hard.

I visit a few 7 – 11 stores and this one is my least favorite. I get over charged for refills all the time here. I always have to tell them they got it wrong. Shady dealings.

It’s a 7 – 11 what can I expect. They got all the stuff I want and parking is easy. Nothing else matters. Dude served me my cheap hot dog fast. 5 stars for service

Well I have been frequenting this 711 since I lived down the street from it. Usually have great experiences there, the owners and workers are usually very kind. Today I had an unfortunate experience, unfortunate enough to probably never go back. They know me there, there is a mutual understanding that I am a regular customer. Today I went in on a hot day to treat myself to a sugar free slurpee to beat the heat, the lid was cracked so the contents above the rim of the cup spilled everywhere. I was tempted to just toss the whole thing and leave because they insist on not keeping napkins anywhere a customer could get them(out of fear for the napkins being stolen, ridiculous), which left me to use my dress(thankfully a navy blue one with a floral print so you couldn’t see the watermelon slurpee I was smearing all over it), I did this because all the workers were too occupied and I did not want to be a bother, in order for me to hold the cup without feeling completely gross and sticky, I put a second cup around it. I got to the counter to pay and the lady working treated me like I was trying to steal a stupid little paper cup. «two cups,» she said as she reached her hand out to take it from me. I then showed her what had happened, instead of saying sorry for the lack of napkins or cracked plastic lid, or situation, she took the second cup off and wrapped one measly napkin around the cup and gave it back to me. This would have been acceptable, rude, but acceptable, if I were a new customer or they were all not fully aware that I have been coming there since they opened and never wanted anything extra for free. I think its important to know when your business isn’t valued, and I learned today that my business is exactly that, not valued.

Update on 10÷8÷14. I had filed a complaint to Los Angeles Department of Consumer Affair regarding my case on 9÷28÷14 and was contacted by Mr. R from DCA today. He had asked me the situation and told me that he had contacted 7 – 11 and was told the store has a refund policy. I told him that I was not aware of the policy from the beggining on the day when I made the purchase or on the day when I planned to return. I had asked for return policy on 9÷25÷14 but was told there was no such policy. After Mr. R had contacted the 7 – 11 again and he told me that D.G. from 7 – 11 store will accept the return for me. I came to the store after lunch and I brought the original battery and receipt for return. I was told by the cashier(a guy with a white turban on the head) that D.G. is not in the store and I will have to wait until he returns or come back some other time. I was unhappy because I was told that I could return the battery. Yet again, I was still unable to return my battery. Thus, I contacted DCA and spoke with Mr. R regarding the situation that I was still unable to return the item that I had purchased. He had contacted the store and I was still on hold with Mr. R. The same guy who assisted me earlier stated now I could return the battery. I walked in and he was helping me with the battery. At the end, I was finally able to return the battery. The new return transcation slip had added«NORETURNSAFTER24HRS» I was glad that I was finally able to return the battery and at the same time this 7 – 11 store is notifing its customer regarding the return policy. I hope no other customer will need to go through what I had experienced.

I agreed with the other review. Dont go to this 7eleven. The owner was rude. I have a coupon for a drink and he pointed at the sign and said«we dont accept coupons here». Owner is also a racist who refuses service because of nationality.

A few years ago, when the Arco gas station that was here shut down, I lamented the loss of cheap gas near the middle school at which I was teaching. Thankfully, a 7-Eleven went in there, and since I love in the neighborhood, it’s a welcome addition to the network of 7-Eleven stores within a mile if this location. A few gas pumps complement this respectable 7-Eleven. The staff there are friendly, even the late shift crew, and they have a good selection of drinks and snacks as you would expect to find. What I don’t get– for reasons beyond my understanding, they sometimes don’t have any coffee brewed, and their large serving containers are turned around backwards. Really, what is 7-Eleven without fresh coffee? It’s one of their signature products, and certainly why I stop in most often. The 7-Eleven down the street at 6th and Duarte always has hot coffee, and a super friendly cashier named Johnny. Alas, it also has a chronic panhandler who Looks like Bill Cosby and a northern fur seal went through the fusion chamber from The Fly. He’s harmless but annoying. The other nearby 7-Eleven at 2nd and Live Oak has another nightly vagrant that waxes poetic about visions in the clouds, messages from aliens, the Virgin Mary, and how badly he wants a job. He’ll also gladly take your spare change, and ride his bike down to yet another 7-Eleven at El Monte and Lower Azusa to spend the money… I’m not a PI, I just happen to see him there a bit, and I do visit all my 7-Elevens a LOT. All that to say, the 7-Eleven by Arcadia library is clean, relatively free of hobos, and efficient. It’s a frequent late night hangout for local law enforcement too, so there’s the de facto safety thing. If they get their coffee program together, they’d be a four or five star operation.

Did you guys know 7 Eleven is a gas station? I sure didn’t! It’s right on the corner of Duarte and Santa Anita(or…diagonally across from Honeyboba). the 7 Eleven was kind of small but has pretty much all the things any other 7 Eleven has, and parking for just the 7 Eleven is limited. You might as well just come here when you’re filling up your vehicle with 7 Eleven gas.

The owner is the biggest A$$HOLE and that’s putting it lightly. I will never give him business again and would encourage you Arcadian Youngens to walk a little further or across the street for better service that’s not discriminatory. Better yet save your money for Honey Boba! I would give him ZERONADANOSTARS if Unilocal allows it for reviews.

I like this location because of the parking lot. Of course, 711 is busy, so having 2 entrances to the lot is very convenient

It is good place to get drinks and snack. It is tough to drive into the parking lot.

Heads-Up: I will usually choose between this station and World across the street unless I’m near a Costco. Not an ARCO guy. Kudos: Can’t complain when both you and your ride can get a fill up at the same place. The prices are always competitive with World and the water tank is usually full for the windshield wiper. They also take Amex and Discover. Could be better: The gas lane closest to Duarte is very narrow and you can run into the curb if not careful. Tight spaces all around. Shooting from the hip: All-around great place to get things done since their prices are low, the convenience store is convenient, and their hours are great. It was worth tearing down the Arco to build this place.

7-Eleven that’s also a gas station? Interesting… As a gas station, prices aren’t too bad. Comparable(usually a few cents over) with that of Arcos in the area, but without the penalty of additional charges for using debit/charge cards. I feel the staff could be friendlier though.
