My first hike on the PCT started here. Great trail with gradual elevation changes and beautiful vistas! Clean pit toilets outside the visitors center (open Sat and Sun only).
Also check out the mine hike which is just West on 2 from Grassy Hollow. It is also part of the PCT.

Pearblossom, CA
This is a really nice visitor center they have set up. The rangers are very helpful, and there are a lot of stuffed animals and plants. There is plenty of informative flyers on alot of trails and rules and events.
