Hoey Optometry

This will be the first and last time that I visit this place.
After getting a vision plan thru my job, I was due for an eye exam. Hoey was one of the places that accepts VSP which is my current eye insurance. Very nervous of trying a new eye doctor I decided to give them a chance.
No complaints in the eye exam (all was great in that department) but one of the reasons for this visit was that I was overdue for a pair of eye glasses. Another reason that I decided to take this chance to use this eye provider was that they carried the particular brand of eye wear that I was very interested in having.
While selecting a pair, I ask many questions (which of course they were answered) and one of the main concerned of mine was that I have a very powerful eye perscription and since the glasses are rimless if I would have that «coke bottles «look to them since we decided to go with the thicker coat on the lenses because it was rimless and to prevent scratches. I was told that I would not have them.
Two weeks later when I went to pick up my eye wear, I what I didn’t expect happen:

I informed the same female worker that that was one of the things that I didn’t want to have in my eye wear. She stated to me that I can return them back and that they can redo them again with the thinner lens but it will be 2 mm smaller from the current lens I had. Also that I would not have the scratch resistance on them. She stated to me that I have 60 days to decide if I want to change them. That they would «back me up» if I wanted to change them. To take them home and try them out. Got home later and night and notice on the right Lens top corner of where the lens connects to the bridge, scratches of where they drilled the hole to connect both pieces. After I paid for the scratch resistance lense.
I decided not to take the 60 day offer and Just leave this review.
