Hsu Serena Ms, DDS

I came to see Dr. Hsu today for a consultation because I am interested in getting a new retainer (make sure you kids wear your retainers of you may have to get braces again in the future). I was referred to Dr. Hsu from my own dentist downstairs in the same building that Dr Hsu is located in.
Dr. Hsu was very friendly and explained everything that she was doing and answered all of my questions and concerns. The room I was in looks very kid friendly with cute fish decal on the wall, hot air balloons on the ceiling and lights and so on. If I had children who needed braces, I would bring them here.
The waiting room has a television (but wasn’t on when I arrived) and plenty of magazines in case you have to wait. There is also a small building block area for little ones to play with as well.
The other staff I interacted with in this little office were also friendly. The girl behind the counter was nice. And also Sylvia, the office manager, was very helpful in going over pricing options with me.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience.
By the way, the building that Dr. Hsu is located in is behind Tasty Garden & also right across the street from the Arcadia Super Market. There should be plenty of parking in the lot. The building is white by the way and also houses other businesses.
One last thing to mention that the current hours for this businesses are (as the ones listed on Unilocal are not entirely correct):
Tues– Thur: 10 am– 6:30 pm
Fri: 10 am– 6 pm
Sat: 8:30 am– 1 pm (only open every other Saturday)

Dr Hsu and her staff are all great! Both my daughters and I came here for our braces. She’s patient. Never pushes the process to go too fast for the teeth to adjust. All our teeth came out great and healthy under her watchful care. Dr. Hsu knows exactly what she’s doing. She also teaches at USC.

The best orthodontics i know! Many of my friends and I come here for braces, and it is the best decision that I made. Everyone is very friendly at the office, and the wait is never that long. When I’m sitting on the chair with my mouth open, Dr. Hsu always tells me what she is doing so that I know what to expect, and not to get scared when I feel pressure or soreness. I can tell that everyone working is honestly happy and passionate with the job.
