Can’t stop laughing about those 1 star reviews. Ppl are really grumpy about not getting their chicken. Every time I drive past by I remember the lady who gave me extra hot wing. She was like a mother2me

Called this place to order grilled chicken, but no one answers the phone. Maybe they’re all being held hostage in the freezer waiting to get executed, LOL Then again for minimum wage earners, maybe they are not smart enough to answer a phone. Yum Brands, gotta check on your minions more frequently.

You know when you go to a quickee drive through you already know what to expect. But not having what you want isn’t one of them. Went through the drive through at 6:00. One person in front of me and nobody inside. So asked for two chicken pot pies. «I’m sorry but we only have one» It’s right before the dinner rush. They should have at least ten ready to go. Strike one. Then I asked for a family meal. I told her that I wanted original recipe. She quickly responded and said she only had three pieces of original. Strike two. I drove off. A month later I ordered a family meal and when I got home it was half original and half grilled or whatever it was. Strike three. The other one in Duarte isn’t much better. They sold me breast that were cut in half. First I thought they gave me thighs. When I took it back, she pulled the skin back on one. And you could see the white meat. I asked for money back. Now I don’t have a KFC to go to.

I’ll make this brief cause it’s fucking Kentucky Fried Chicken. I usually go to the place on Las Tunas in San Gabriel, cause it’s a huge building(like some kind of old school place probably opened in the 70’s). And at that other location, never been very happy. If you talk to people alive in the 70’s or prior, Original Recipe meant something. Now, you will order it and get some messy version of not crispy extra crispy with maybe some spices. Real lame. So, I went in here reluctantly, as it’s one of those crass half KFC/half Taco Bell shitholes. But I have to say, it was a huge improvement for one of the more expensive fast foods. The Original Recipe leg I ordered was actually real Original Recipe properly done. And the extra crispy was super extra crispy. Two notes, dudes in the exec offices, who might care… less cream/sauce/water in the coleslaw(as well as a little less sugar), and some proper fucking french fries. No one wants potato wedges. And Pepsi sucks.

WTF! This place is open 11pm. I walk in at 930 pm. That’s an hour and a half before they are supposed to close. There were no customers inside at all. I ask if the have grilled chicken. The clerk looks inside the warmer and say«there are only 3 pieces«. This is not the first time that they don’t have any chicken. Stay away from this place, it’s just a waste of time

Only thing bad was ALL the tables were dirty. Except one that was KINDOFOK to sit. However as soon as we sat the counter guy wiped down the tables after he saw that we had such a difficult time finding a passable seat.

We went in the other day at around 8 at night. There was a group of about 10 – 12 people crowded together at the counter(2 – 3 women and the rest children). The«main» woman was placing a huge, insanely complicated, custom order(i.e. «potato wedges, but fried in the chicken oil NOT the potato oil,» etc.). After several minutes an employee came out from behind the counter to take my order. We gestured toward the crowd at the counter and made a comment about how rude and nasty the woman was being to the employee at the register. The employee whispered that the woman is the owner. The employee took our order and then rang us up at the drive thru register. The owner continued to be nasty to the young employee who was doing her best to keep up with the long, complicated order. Two of the children from the group at the counter walked over to a group in the corner of the sitting area — about another 10 people or so. As we were waiting for our order, the main woman barked at the cashier that she wanted«a lot» of water cups. The young lady at the counter handed the owner a stack of about 10 – 12 cups and the owner barked at her, «I said a lot — I need more!» During this exchange, an employee came out to the dining area again to take the order of another couple who had walked in. Soon after this, as we were standing at the counter answering an employee’s question about our order, several of the children from the group crowded around the soda machine, pushing us out of the way while we were talking. The person with me calmly and politely suggested to the children that they make a line so that no one would get hurt. One of the children, maybe around 10 years old, told us, «Shut up! We own this and we can do what we want.» Excuse me? The employee we were speaking with was clearly mortified and started apologizing. We told him that he had nothing to apologize for, that these rude children were not his responsibility. Another employee who had seen what was going on, handed us our order, apologized for the experience, and let us know that a couple of extra pieces of chicken had been added to our order for our inconvenience. Just as we were getting ready to walk out, ANOTHER12 – 14 people walked in and joined their group. Over 30 people in a tiny dining area. Thank goodness we had ordered our food to go. These people may be the owners, but you can’t put your customers in second place — they need to be the priority. Since the owners here obviously couldn’t care less about their customers or their employees, they don’t get anymore of our $$. The second star is strictly for the professionalism and politeness of the employees!

The worst kfc I’ve ever been too. When I get there, I’m usually the only one in the drive-thru. No matter what I order, they say«we only have 6 grilled do you want Krispy?» If I order all original they say we don’t have enough for your order. As I drive in, about 4⁄5 people are gathered together just talking and they say we don’t have enough of what you order. I have never gotten any butter or honey Ever! I will now drive further for a better experience. Warning: don’t go there! The whole crew at this time need to be replaced with new employees trained in courteous customer service.

I grew up on the original kfc chicken. My coworker wanted it for lunch and I got excited. I usually order the extra crispy but today j had both. We ordered the 16 meal original and 6 price extra crispy. The cole slaw is exactly the way I remember and I Like it. The mash potatoes and gravy yummy yum and Mac and cheese was good. There was no in line we thought there was something wrong but soon enough the line grew. We had to ankle a left and there was no traffic going either way. Omg what a day of lucky for us. The chicken fell apart in our mouths. I think I gained a few pounds. I rated it at 4 because of the service and my craving but overall this place is slow service but not today! They even remember the butter and honey. Thank you for the childhood memories

Sordid mess. The food was truly bad. Old. Cold. Dry. Inedible. It’s difficult to believe YUM brands would let this kind of product into the market. But they did. And they do. The only thing good about this place is the large plastic bag you get. For carryout. We opened our bag of CRAP when we got home in 6 minutes. Our chicken: old, cold, dry, baked chicken. Piece after piece after piece. Kazi foods locations(the operator) does not cook fresh chicken after their evening rush. Let’s say 7:30. But they take full price until closing. The chicken was nasty, and we threw it out. We paid good money for absolute CRAP. CRAP. CRAP. The tacos were a little better, but the lettuce was dried out. Kind of like the fake plastic green grass in children’s Easter baskets. It must have been cut early in the day, and allowed to just dry out. As was the chicken in the tacos. Dried out. The cole slaw had an off taste, like it had been in a smelly refrigerator. Smelly. The mac and cheese was floury and sticky, as though it was old. Like 2 – 3 days old. Congealed. Honestly, everything had a dried-out, old appearance, taste, and smell. Kazi throws nothing away. The only thing that was really good was the big KFC bag, which was used to gather this Kazi crap up and put it in the waste basket. And then seal the garbage bag. And take it outside. We are now done with anything that Kazi foods touches. Google it and see what Kazi thinks of himself. Kazi foods. Zubair Kazi. He is not a «hands on operator» as one of his biographies states. He is an inept businessman for whom KFC has not yet had the balls to dump for running the brand down with bad, old, crappy food. And shrinking sales revenue. We have had the same bad experience at this location(and others) several times. WEAREDONEWITHKFCINSOUTHERNCALIFORNIA. KAZIIS A CRAP, CHEATINGOPERATORWHODESERVESNOTHINGFROMANYCUSTOMER. I blame myself for going back thinking it would improve. Cheating? Yep. He took 100% of the listed price from us, and provided counterfeit food worth maybe 5% to a hog farmer. To feed as slop to the pigs. Zubair Kazi has to be just about the worst franchisee not in jail or in chapter 11 or 7. His food is an abomination. What the cluck, indeed. Read this!

This place always makes me think why I hate KFC in the first place. The lady at the drive thru constantly gave me a hard time and coming to the drive thru, the wait was so long that my leg was going numb sitting. Probably gonna take my business elsewhere or better yet, stop eating KFC.

I used to come to this Taco Bell/KFC so much back in high school, but not recently. I was surprised at how expensive everything on the menu was! The prices for the chicken were really expensive. Without coupons, you pay a whole lot for some chicken. Don’t forget to check your coupons before you come here! The restaurant is very clean, and the workers are nice. I know that the drive thru isn’t as fast as it’s supposed to be, so I usually opt to park and walk into the restaurant to order. The chicken is good(especially the crispy ones!) and so is the mashed potatoes and potato wedges. I’d say to stay away from the mac and cheese. It was pretty disgusting. The biscuit is nothing special … I like the ones from Church’s chicken a lot more. I also ordered a steak burrito for about $ 3 … that was not a good decision. It tasted pretty horrible. If you want authentic Mexican food, stick to places like Taco la Dona or something. I do like the crispy tacos that are $ 0.99 for one, I believe. I prefer to come here just for KFC’s chicken, not for the tacos. And they don’t take Discover :/

I sat and waited 25 minutes in the drive thru today. The wait time was record breaking and no that’s not a compliment. It’s a whole new level of ridiculousness. The food is usually okay but I’m really close to not coming here anymore. I come to a fastfood restaurant for FAST food. I don’t want to spend half an hour of my life sitting there waiting for 6 pieces of grilled chicken.

I used to come to this location in high school a lot. I came here most recently last night, thanks to the freakin’ hot wing ads on TV and a fast-food-lovin’ boyfriend. Got a bucket of 20 with a large side of potato wedges = ~$ 12. Drive-thru was fast. The wings themselves were alright. With every bite, guilt kept singing in my head about KFC’s inhumane ways :(I know they advertise sauceless wings but I actually like sauce on my hot wings. But the hot sauce helped boost up the flavor a bit. As for the wedges, they were pretty good. Seasoned. Potatoe-y — good enough for me! PPSSSTTT, a secret I’m reluctant to share: KFC has BOMB hot sauce. Who would’ve thought! &apparently it’s owned by an Asian family — how suitable for Arcadia :)

My wife just came home from this KFC. She is furious with this unit. I swear, the only times she this mad is when she is mad at me… There were more than 10 cars in the drive thru lane, so she decided to go inside to order… bad move. So the line was so slow outside the cars started to honk!!! Inside there were only two customers, my wife and an asian lady. So whoever was in charge decided after taking both customer from inside order, to accomadate the drive thru. My wife’s ticket time was 8:09, she got her food at 8:35. That’s a long long time for fast food. Poor decision on the employees part for not knowing how to work the line. After my wife questioned the employee, what took so long, the employee gave her a poor apology. So this just shows a unit that is unaware of how to run a store. Horrible, horrible service.

I really like their(KFC) food, but I don’t understand why it’s so expensive(without coupons). During my most recent trip, I asked for breast and wing with my grilled chicken meal and got leg and thigh. Not that I don’t like dark meat, but I was trying to eat a little healthier. Thanks for mixing up my order, KFC worker, and making me just a little bit more unhealthy. Also, the wait at the drive-thru was really long. I really wanted to blame it on the old lady in front of me since she took forever just turning into KFC’s driveway, but I think the wait at the drive-thru always takes a really long time from past experiences. The F in KFC definitely does not stand for fast.
