My son broke two teeth on vacation… permanent teeth right in front. Great, right? I took him to the dentist and they had to put composite on the teeth because he was too young to get caps yet. Well, to make a long story short, one tooth experienced too much trauma so he had to have a root canal… which Dr. Amanda did for him. It was painful but she really was very gentle and he didn’t suffer much at all. Afterwards, the composite that the dentist put on kept falling off. Finally Dr. Loo recommended putting a post in the tooth so that the composite had something to hold on to. The dentist said that they don’t do that procedure so we went back to Dr. Amanda and she did everything… for a lot less $$$ too!(with insurance). I would highly recommend her to anyone! She is very meticulous about her work and very pleasant, confident and calming. I wish she was a dentist as well!

I’m not sure if Dr Loo does any procedures here. His credentials were on the wall, but Dr Amanda performed my procedure. Dr Amanda was gentle and great at telling what she was going to do before the procedure. It was nice knowing what was going to take place in my mouth. I’m mean a root canal is a frightening procedure. This facility has very modern equipments, which put me at ease a bit. They even have a microscope that they use during the procedure. My former dentist that did another root canal on me didn’t have a microscope and he should have… he must have been 70 years old! The root canal procedure really hurt though. I wish I could’ve been put to sleep. Oh well, I don’t think anyone is ever thrilled with the idea of getting a root canal.
