Orient Retreat Spa

I’ve been the member of Orient Retreat Spa for almost 15 yrs. Enjoying their treatment is always my best choice to be relax, re-​chargeable.
All of their receptionists are so friendly, courteous to help me setting an appointment. The professional therapists are professional, caring and attentive. The environment is always keeping clean, comfortable and quiet.

This is the first time i’m feel that massage is a enjoyable thing, The place is clean and quiet, You can completely relaxed here. the staffs are provide the best service here, They are professional, friendly, considerate and sweet. For sure i’ll be back here soon :)

Good for the my acnes. Their face deep cleaning help to get rid of the white heads, black heads and my huge pimples. I feel all my pores can breathe after the cleaning.

The ambience the SPA was calm and relaxing. The treatment I received was totally soothing and rejuvenating. Definitely will come back again!

I love this place! Orient Retreat has the very professional set up and equipment. Staffs here are professional, personal, attentive, caring and sweet. I love how my esthetician’s magic hands. She gave me a nice facial that includes cleansing, exfoliating, extraction, mask and massage. It’s was an enjoyment to get a great facial service from her. I especially love the manager Charlene. She is very sweet and really cares about her customers experience from their service. I highly recommend this spa to any of you who is looking for a great spa/​facial experience! I would definitely visit here again soon!

I love how clean is the place. I am very sensitive and usually get allergic reaction soon if the place is not clean. Never have any problem since the first time I was there. Evelyn is my go to girl there she always very kind and accommodating, make me feel like I am a special guest every time.

I love this place! I have been a loyal customer for over 7 years and I can’t say enough about the staff, their professionalism, and expertise. This is my go-​to place whenever I feel I need to recover. The ambiance is also very nice, aside from the treatment rooms, there are also sauna, steam room, showers, lounge, and a small kitchen that offers healthy treats. Their branch manager, Angel, is also extremely helpful suggesting the type of treatments I should get when I tell her how I feel. It’s great because I don’t have to figure out what I need, I just walk in and relax.

Got a really good deal during their anniversary sale. The staffs are very friendly. They share skin care tips every time I visited. This facility is always clean. There are several massagers. All of them provide professional techniques with their own styles. It’s a nice place everyone can relax.

This is definitely 5 star treatment. Orient retreat is a women only full service spa that has shower, sauna, steam room and a lounge area where you can order a meal and drinks. I usually go there one hour prior to my facial and order a sandwich and relax while reading a magazine. The lady I request for facial is named Rebeka (that’s how she spells her name). I’ve only got facials, not body massages.

I love the simplicity this spa has to offer. They aren’t as large as Ann Karen space wise but personally I like their Facial techniques more. They have sauna, steam room & showers for you to use while you wait for your appointment time. I always request a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice.
Highly recommend their massages, Golden Spoon facial, Marine facial & Aromatherapy Facial.
Tip: buy a package to save some money.

I love this spa! It’s so close to my house and my whole family comes here. However, this spa is for women only. They do not have a men’s section. It is small for a spa but the girls there are very sweet.
–Angel is my favorite. I always make my appointments through her.
–Anna does really good facials.
–Lydia gives really good massages.
I really like the gold spoon facial. The hot stone massage is also very nice and relaxing. The facility here is very clean and quiet. The best part about this spa is it is a chain. There is a few in Taiwan. When I go back to Taiwan, I can use my membership to get a discount at the spa in Taiwan. I would give this spa a ⁵⁄₅ if it is like the spas in Taiwan. The Orient Retreats in Taiwan are a lot bigger and nicer. They also offer more massages there.
I remember there was a girl from Taiwan to train the employees here. She was the absolute best. I tried asking her to stay!!! I am definitely going to look for her when I go back.

Overall, I give this place 3.5 stars.
Came here with my Mom on a Sunday. It was nice to see another mom and daughter spending a SPA day here.
Pros:
–Clean, quiet, and not crowded.
–Facial sheets can be found in the mini fridge (great for sauna).
–Eucalyptus scented steam room.
–Both English and Chinese magazines/​reading material available in the lounge/​waiting area.
–Freshly squeezed OJ, sandwiches and rice noodle soup are available but you must use a coupon (provided if you are a member) or pay cash for it.
–Professional staff.
–The Massage Therapist lets you relax by not chatting with you (recommend Mei).
–Plenty of parking in the lot in front of OR.
Cons:
–No jacuzzi.
–There’s only 1 lounge area.
–Moderately expensive. Worth it if you prefer a clean and less crowded SPA facility.

I got a gift certificate for a facial here at Orient Retreat. I thought it was moderately expensive. The facial wasn’t what i expected. Its more for the relaxing type and i didn’t feel like i got the full benefits of extractions. I know its painful but if it’s priced at $ 130 i hope their cleaning out something in my skin.
Very clean spa and very relaxing. But i expect more from services. But i guess to price is with the spa.

AAHHHHH, spa… my second guilty pleasure next to food! When I travel, there are two things always on my mind, food and spa. So yes, this review is coming from a total spa whore who’s been around (Spas, that is!) =P
Reception skills are wonderful at this place, very polite, professional, and knowledgeable (I can only imagine how the economy has effected the spa business these days. So wow, service was def. overly accommodating =) The facility itself is very standard and up-​to-​date; steam room, sauna, great café menu of fresh juices and light meals, quiet area with all the latest magazines and pretty white couches and lounge chairs! Hmm… there was one thing missing though — Jacuzzi! Otherwise I would’ve had everything I needed for a whole afternoon of relaxing and pampering… oooo lah lah…
When I’m here, I always get the Aqua Facial or the Slimming Contour Body Massage. Therapists of OR are friendly and professional, but a bit stiff in my opinion. I get the feeling that they were all trained by the same training program, and have some kind of strict rules of going by the book. So if you wish a little more flexibilities to your treatments, if can be frustrating. However, the up sides are you can always expect the same (never disappointing or bad experiences), and they sure pay attentions to details.
Finally, I must mention this is a Taiwanese Spa chain with 95% Asian clients. It is a neighborhood spa of casual visits with lots of regulars for the reasons of convenience and familiarities. It’s probably not the best choice if you are planning to do some serious pampering and splurge on luxurious treatments. However you’ll find me here for basic maintenance and quiet moments every girl needs once in a while =)
