I called Dr. Siew’s office yesterday after reading good reviews. I’m new to the area and was looking for an internist. I asked if the doctor took Medicare assignment and was told yes. After answering a few health questions I was told that Dr. Siew decides which patients he wants to accept and that they’d get back to me. First of all, they did not get back to me and second and more importantly I believe, office staff should be taught to say they’d check to see if the doctor was accepting new patients, not that he decided on a patient-​by-​patient basis; this decision is obviously tied to insurance and the bottom line, which is understandable. It just should not be said out loud.

Dr. Siew is a wonderfun doctor. Great internist and also has a psychology specialty, so he knows it all. He takes a special interest in all his patients and our entire family adores him.

Absolutely a great doctor. I saw him only once and he was kind enough to help me out a few months later with an emergency over the phone. Very nice guy. Will never forget.
