Not surprised with the great reviews as she does have different services and every individual’s skin has different needs. Some ratings are for waxing and some for breakout issues which I don’t need nor tried. So I don’t doubt she is great for that. My lower ratings are for other the facials.
I was referred here by my sibling who has bad breakouts and said Cindy charged only $ 40. I was going to go to another place a friend referred but since my sibling was going to see her soon, I thought I give her a try first. I should’ve asked her for pricing for facials before I started so i was at fault for that one.
She was nice and friendly and loves to chat. In my opinion, for a painful procedure (waxing, peels, extractions) where a client may be anxious, talking a lot helps comfort the client which is great. But for a facial etc, I prefer a quiet spa like environment with nature music on and dimmed light or something. This was not an environment for that if that’s what your looking for. (minus 1-​star)
I am a very observant person and I had many facials at many different places throughout my many #‘s of years and I have to sadly say this was my worse and most expensive! I can go on and on with the full details of comparison but long story short, for a $ 65 facial (i didn’t expect) I do then expect a $ 65 work. She lacked on steps, details and I DO NOT remember any 40 min facial (which 5 – 10 min of that was for extractions making it more like a 30 min facial) would cost me that much. Don’t know if the facial only last that long or she didn’t think I would notice my time. But felt a little cheated. (minus 1-​star)
I went to places who went ALL out for 2 hours for $ 70 (that’s only $ 5 more, double her time and much more detailed) and walk out feeling great. Even brand name places like Shisheido would do a 10 min FREE one or Clarins would do a 50min treatment (which includes a quick message to neck, shoulders and arms) for less that that if you buy a 4 treatment pkg deal.
Overall, this visit was ok. My face did look more vibrant for the first hour or so, but whatever the product used, felt a bit like glue and was sticky afterwards. For the extractions, again the detail wasn’t there. I had to go home and finish my own extractions she left undone. (minus 1-​star)
So with this experience, I obviously wont be going back. I rather go to Clarins or the other spa places I used to go to. Sorry for the first low rating review but this experience just didn’t do it for me. She was very nice but quality and environment is important depending on the type of treatment as well.

Excellent customer service! I recommend Cindy Lancy for all your skin care needs. She is gentle and professional. I have very sensitive skin and she takes special care making sure that I won’t have a reaction. To me, that’s priceless!

Where have you been all my life Cindy!!!
I have suffered from acne since middle school and I have tried absolutely everything: facials, proactiv, peels, etc. Before seeing Cindy, I was seeing an aesthetician for big bucks which eventually sucked my funds dry. In addition to that they had me purchase a eight step topical system that equated to about $ 250. Ain’t nobody got time to do that twice a day. This sent me running and I was once again on search of a new aesthetician. Luckily, my friend told me about Cindy and my jaw dropped when he told me the price. $ 40 was a good price so I decided to give her a try.
I have already had two sessions with Cindy and I can already say that I have seen a great reduction in the development of new acne. During the sessions, as we acne sufferers all know, they hurt! However, Cindy’s approach is only extracting the acne that is ready. This definitely makes the sessions less excruciating to endure. Plus, she loves to converasate so time will fly by in no time! Pairing it with a two step topical regimen I think my skin will be better in no time. As for these stubborn hyperpigmentation marks, I will update once I start the third topical medication for that.
Cindy is very knowledgeable in the field and she definitely does great work! She has no intentions of coning you. Give her a try, you won’t regret it !

Overall facial experience was good. My face feels and look cleared :) Bought the package so lets see how well my skin going to look after my next appointment!

I have been going to Cindy for over 15 years. Although I live in the South Bay area I drive to Cindy.
I trust her completely and she never performs any procedure on your skin without first test patching which is key, trust me I had a friend learn the hard way.
Cindy is an amazing person, easy to talk to and ALWAYS a smile on her face and in her voice on the phone.
Her prices are VERY reasonable and she only uses the best products for skin care. The product line she uses is all I use and I have three friends who are also now hooked on the products and her services.
She accommodates her clients to the limit and offers late evening appointments perfect for those that work.
Every client is important to her and she treats you such.

Cindy came highly recommended from a friend who has been going to her for years. I was very intrigued to find out that Cindy offers a package deal of a chemical peel and three oxygen treatments for $ 140, I had to check her out. I found her pricing very affordable as well.
Cindy is very personable and knowledgable. When I came in to meet her she took the time to get to know my skin, what it needed, what I wanted to spend, and developed a kind of treatment plan for my skin. She did a dermabrasion treatment on me for only $ 75, the most affordable I’ve heard of in a long time. As is typical, the day after my facial I looked like a zitty teenager because my skin was letting out all the bad stuff and healing up. That’s a good sign for me that within a couple of days, my skin will look like a little baby’s butt. I’m very happy that I found Cindy.

When I was living in LA, I would go to Cindy for my waxing needs. She is so thorough and so precise that I’m always pleased with the results (even though the actual process hurts like a mofo!).
She’s also extremely friendly and warm and I used to talk to her about anything and everything! She always treats me like a friend she hasn’t seen in ages — I love her!
Since I moved (which was over a year ago), I haven’t gone to any other beautician for my waxing needs because it makes me feel like I’m cheating on Cindy!
