Va Kho Bo

I stumbled upon this gem while shopping in the area looking for boba.
Via Kho Bo is an asian shop specializing in tea and various asian treats both sweet and savory. They also have these awesome flavored tea bricks by Nature Land, Inc which is just absolutely tasty, it’s nicely fragrant and lightly sweeten. I purchase the «Dac Sac» tea flavor packet. The tea packet is a concentrate. To make the tea from the packet, use 3 single use bottled water per one tea packet. Boil til the packet is completely melted and diluted. Then strain the tea and add water to dilute it to desire taste. Less water for more robust flavor and more water for a nice subtle tea flavor.
They also have a nice variety of home made chinese beef jerky which is delicious. If you’ve never tried the chinese beef jerky, check it out. Unlike american jerky, the asian jerky is savory and comes in various flavors. I like the spicy version which has hints of curry powder and just a touch of sweet. The texture is a lot softer than the average western jerky. I love both western and asian beef jerky. This is a nice addition. Lastly, their milk tea boba is delish. Although a tad more sugary then my preference, the freshly hand made boda totally makes up for it. It’s nice and soft and chewy. Will definitely come back for more of those delicious flavor tea bricks.
