Jesse, the shop owner, is a genuinely cool dude. Apart from a wealth of MTG knowledge, he’ll joke with you, will always ask your name if you’re new so he can get to know you, and will make you feel welcome.
Theres a range of singles spanning all sets, and a good selection of quality supplies which get restocked regularly. All the singles are based off the mid price from
, unlike Starcity which most other places use (and which means the prices are significantly lower). The supplies are MSRP priced which means you can avoid horrific price jacking which tends to happen at other LGS. His trade in rates are fair and his boosters are very competitively priced.
Plus its next to Masaki’s soooo delicious food and magic cards.
Since this shop has opened, I’ve bought from other shops in the area twice, only to get items Lost Coast hasn’t had in for a while due to distributor issues. There really is no reason to go elsewhere.
Only complaint off the top of my head is that the store is cash only at the moment (the shops i still fairly new and he’s working to set up a debit system).

Small store with very friendly owner.
I was only in the area for a short time, but he helped me hook up with some of his customers and I was able to get some cards that I needed.
Even gave the the name of other shops in town that I could visit.
