This gourmand’s outpost features authentic, handmade Trinidadian street food known simply but ubiquitously as «doubles» on the stunning East Indian island. Doubles are delicious, nutritious, meat-free, dairy-free, flavor-packed taste-grenades exploding with deeply intense yet balanced profiles of savory spices & elusive umami. Basically, you get a chickpea-flour based«pita» called«bara» filled with a generous amount of her sensuous chickpea-caramelized onion mixture, topped woith homemade, locally-sourced, organic tomato chutney, fresh grated cucumber & garnished with a dollop of REAL Trinidadian hot sauce… oh my goddess!!!
