The Back Porch

The Back Porch is one of my favorite spots in Arcata. Not just to buy furniture but to feel inspired. I discovered this gem just over a year ago while riding my bike through Arcata. And what a find it is! Tucked away in the old recycling center sits one of the most amazing furniture shops! Martin the owner is such an incredibly talented craftsman. All the furniture is made from upcycled or reclaimed wood. In addition to furnishing my house with one of a kind pieces from The Back Porch, I also use them for my business. We do a lot of tradeshows using the Back Porch furniture in our booth displays and everyone loves it!
I highly recommend stopping by The Back Porch If you are looking for «farm style» or «shabby chic» furniture and décor. It is a truly unique shop with reasonable prices, it’s a must see!!!
