Not a great experience donating, came to pick stuff up which was nice but they were picky about what they would take, not especially polite and quite late arriving

This is a great thrift store that supports a great organization, and it has pretty much a little bit of everything in it. The building has a small side parking lot that can be difficult and parking on the street is sometimes the best choice. The service counter is straight ahead as you enter the shop, usually with two or so volunteer helpers. The store is surprisingly large opening to the right and straight back of the counter. Usually offering a nice selection of clothing — women’s and men’s mostly — they have a high end rack in both sections these garments are priced full resale. There is usually a decent selection of furniture and miscellaneous household items — most everything I looked at was again at full resale. As well, the book section was more resale than thrift priced. There are bargains to be had, but you will have to search a bit more — I have always found a few items each time I’ve been in and knowing my money supports the local hospice — makes paying a bit more for some items okay in my book. A solid 4 stars. 196

This is a great place to shop. Plenty of new and almost new clothes, kitchenwares and furniture. Organized, attractive and fun staff.

This address is actually for the Hospice Of Humboldt Thrift Shop. They have the standard thrift store fare: housewares, men and women’s clothing, books, shoes, etc. They do NOT have babies/kids clothes or toys. When I was there, they didn’t have a lot of furniture, but this may vary. The staff were very nice when I visited and they are close to downtown.

Hospice thrift is a nice, clean little thrift store. The prices can be higher than other shops but the quality is usually higher too. You wont be surprised with stains or rips with the clothes once you buy them. This thrift store supports a really good cause.
