Ickey’s

Growing up in a small town myself, I understand the nostalgic feeling community members have for having «that one» gathering place. However, Ickey’s is simply abysmal. High school cafeteria food is a generous description, except served in a dingy, box-​like building with one window and only a few lightbulbs. If consuming poorly prepared food service fare that tastes like freezer burn (all while sitting in the dark) is your cup of tea, then I do not know what else to say. The food was absolutely disgusting– my side salad was a small handful of bagged brown lettuce (no carrots or anything else) with spoiled ranch dressing, cod fish full of bones, and defrosted french fries. Menu is very limited with a few basic sandwiches and fried items.
