Excellent pizza. I’m not from this area but we stop to eat here whenever we are passing through. It is thee best. Try the deluxe. It’s awesome.

Monicals is usually very good, this was just OK. The service was slow and the pizza did not have the normal zing. We have had much better.

I have been to Monical’s in Charleston many times. While visiting the area over the weekend, my husband was jazzed to see a location close to our hotel in Arcola.
I called in an order, which was taken by a nice person on the phone. I ordered a medium deluxe without mushrooms. It was ready when we arrived. I thought it was a bit pricey but the size was larger than the medium I’m used to.
The deluxe had plenty of green olives, banana peppers and sausage. It was really tasty and thin crust was perfectly baked.
Overall, for carryout, this Monical’s location worked for us.
