Wow! Just moved to Shoreview and my husband and I were so excited to have Jimmy Johns within our delivery area. Ordered(2) #12 with extra onion. Received 2 sandwiches with no guacamole and no onion. I called the store thinking, people make mistakes, no big deal. The Manager«Izzie» was so incredibly rude and condescending. I was shocked at her tone and lack of willingness to make the situation right. Also, claims she has no idea who owns the store… Well, there are plenty of other Jimmy John’s and other restaurants that deliver in this area. I would usually give a store a second chance, but in this case no way.

I’ve eaten here many times, and I can say that they are very consistent. The sandwiches are always great and are made the exact same way every time. The service is fine… some of the«kids» are genuinely warm and friendly, while others are more sterile and read from the script. But all of them have been courteous and professional. The place always looks spic and span. As for the food? Well, even though JJ’s has no bread choice, they absolutely destroy Subway, in my opinion. The quality of the meats and cheeses is fantastic, and even in a loaded sandwich like the«Gargantuan»(genoa salami, smoked ham, capicola, roast beef, turkey & provolone, onions, mayo, lettuce, tomato), you can actually taste EACH ingredient. Their French bread has just the right chew, and there’s a whole wheat option, too. Unlike Subway and Quiznos, they don’t offer a toasted version, but if you’re taking it home to eat, no problem. Heat your oven to 325 degrees, unwrap your sammy and re-wrap in foil, then bake it about eight minutes. Viola– a crispy outer shell, but still soft inside.
