Harry is an all-around stand up, great guy. The first time I visited the store, I didn’t attempt to bargain(bc I suck at it and it makes me uncomfortable) and he marked down my stuff without me asking. I overheard him do it for another customer as well. I thanked him and mentioned that i love shopping for antique store stuff, but that I feel uncomfortable asking for discounts so he gave me a quick lesson. I go to Harry’s every single week now and have for over a year. Although I can bargain now, I never need to ask — Harry just takes some off the top. He’s become a friend to me just from visiting on a weekly basis and chatting. He’s helped me find some specific stuff that he didn’t sell in his store, too. His stuff is also great; he knows good stuff when he sees it, he knows what stuff is worth, he has lots of new stuff every week and his prices are more than reasonable. Everything in the basement is an additional 50% off. If you like cool/pretty stuff that’s old, valuable and just fun to have, you have to check this place out. It’s really fun.

Harry is a good guy. He is willing to work with you on prices and the stuff does seem to change frequently(well, maybe not the basement). It’s a great place to browse for a bargain! In fact I recommend it over the waste of time called Pennywise.

Great to pop in and look around. Harry is very easy to work with and for the most part, he knows his stuff very well. Most antiques shops say antiques yet only sell junk at high prices. Harry truly does sell Treasures and Collectibles!

Harry himself is a treasure. Cool guy, knows his stuff and prices accordingly. Don’t go in expecting to find any steals or real bargains(heck you can’t go across the street to Pennywise and get any deals these days), but he does have an ever-changing assortment of goodies. Always unique, always fun.

Small place, dont bother going down into the«half off basement” — its a bunch of picked over junk in my mind. But he had a nice selection of antique jewelry, knick knacks and furniture at decent prices. He even negotiates! Walked out of there with a small side table for $ 40, thinking about going back for an antique dresser in excellent condition for $ 250.

I hate to be a party pooper, but I was not very thrilled with Harry’s. There was some neat antique stuff in there. Lots of old hand mirrors and great old fashioned odds and ends, but the prices blew me away. Even the basement items at half off were crazy expensive. I guess that’s what you get when you have a Main Line Lancaster Ave. location but don’t have the charity credentials to get a discount on rent(like Pennywise and the Junior League). One word: overpriced.

Harry’s is a true treasure shop — I can’t think of what else I’d call it. Resale shop sounds too boring; thrift shop too low-end. Yet it’s not quite an antique store. It’s just a great shop with one of almost everything. Not only is it lots of fun to look around, it’s even more fun to buy stuff at. Prices are very affordable, especially in the basement where everything is 50% off. We found an old-fashioned sewing basket and school desk down there for insanely cheap. On the main floor, we’ve gotten deals on nice furniture, including the coolest red hurricane lamp I have ever seen and an old-fashioned settee from Strawbridge & Clothiers. He has 3 garages full of more stuff in the back. Ask to look at his Polaroids, and if you like what you see he’ll take you back there to look. Last but not least, Harry himself is friendly, chatty, helpful, and always willing to strike a deal. The price you see listed is NEVER final, and if you’re a female with a pick-up truck but lacking in the ability to life a huge piece of furniture into the back by yourself, he’ll find a way to help you out.

Harry has it all. I’ve been going to Harry’s for years. He always seems to find some really great treasures at sells them all at very reasonable prices. I recently bought an antique jewelry box in great condition that turned out to be half price. Harry always will entertain a little bargaining and no price ever seems to final. He keeps the store well stocked from furniture, jewelry, glass you name it. If you are looking for a unique antique, check out Harry’s.
