Day after Christmas. Two sales people scheduled. Duh Verizon! Verizon now charges an «upgrade fee» when you upgrade your phone. 2 stinking years and a) they want $ 30 for the privilege of waiting 90 minutes to swap a phone b) they are trying to upsell me on plan Duh me! I’m not bitter :-(

Verizon just went down in my book. They made me get a basic phone to buy an iphone 4s at a discount a couple of years ago. I forgot about the $ 36 monthly charge and lost the ability to see my bill cuz I went paperless and my bank couldn’t provide online access to the bill(Verizon has enhanced security that didn’t allow it). There’s been no usage on the phone and yet they won’t give me a credit back to the expiry of the contract(we’re talking about $ 100 here) cuz I didn’t call them at the time. Very complicated, but basically I’m dealing with a PHONECOMPANY again. Fios was good, but the phone company is bad, and I’ve been a steady customer for years.

I came in on a Monday afternoon totally planning on signing up for two new cell plans. I had to wait forever to speak with a rep. When I finally spoke with someone, she was not very helpful at all! She did not help me pick out the phones and she really wasn’t «selling» She was basically waiting for me to finish asking questions and leave. I waited around longer than I actually spoke with someone. It’s messed up that a potential customer comes into the store and is treated in this way.

Great Verizon corporate store and location. Ive been having major problems with my phone and they came to my rescue. My stress level was out the roof when I entered the store and by the time I left my stress was relieved. The wait is never long because they seem to have a full staff. Kudos to everyone there. Thank you!

I’ve noticed changes… Better customer service, friendlier and more efficient. It’s so much more pleasant to come here.

Nice not to need an appointment to resolve a cell phone issue like with Apple. Store had all the things you need except Grateful Dead posters.

Although the products and service offered are the top of the line, the customer service is unfortunately at the bottom of the line. I believe going to this Verizon store, unless its location is convenient, isn’t as efficient as going to say best buy or RadioShack for mobile purchases. More professional salesmen/women elsewhere.

I went to this particular Verizon store early on a Saturday morning. I was asked to sign in even though there was only one other person in the store at the time. I was having issues with my blackberry and wanted some advice and or help with how to fix or prevent them. Once an employee became available I began to explain to him what was going on with my phone… when I was rudely interrupted before I could finish. He asked for my phone and said to me «give me twenty minutes» then walked away with it. About 15 minutes later he returned with my phone and told me he did an update and it should be working fine now. I was left feeling confused and my questions unanswered. So once again I began explaining to him that I was unsure why it was giving me troubles. He blurted out«it’s a phone it’s acting like a phone. I’m not sure what your confused about your phones not broken». I was so shocked that he even said that. It was rude and completely unprofessional. I then just thanked him and walked out feeling as if I had totally inconvenienced him and that I was the idiot for not knowing what was wrong with my phone. My advice would be for someone to go to a different Verizon store where the employees actually will be happy to help you. This was my second time in this store and both times I left aggravated.

Have an extra two to three hours in your busy day to waste waiting to get a new phone or get your old phone serviced? Verizon’s the place to go. Yeah sure they have a nifty electronic sign-in PC in the front where you enter a «queue» but come on! The real fact of the matter is that they simply do not have enough service and sales support to accommodate their customers. Once your name is called, they do manage to spend time with you but when it comes down to service and the quality of your time… don’t bother.
