Econo Lodge

A disappointing stay, not recommended.
I chose this Econolodge after seeing a 40% discount offered. Even though it was cheap, was it worth it? Nope.
I’ll start with the worst. There was no hot water in the shower. I let the «hot» water run for 10 minutes and I’m not even sure I would call it lukewarm. Since I was running out of time before check-​out, I didn’t bother to complain. Also, housekeeping started banging on the door at 9:30 a.m., really? I had the «do not disturb» sign on the door too and housekeeping even acknowledged it, telling me that people usually forget to take the sign down. When check-​out is at 11, why not wait a while? It wasn’t even busy (not many rooms to clean), considering the parking lot was mostly empty. The other thing that bothered me was a stained bath towel. The other towel was okay, even if it had turned an off-​white color…
The only things saving this review from being worse were the amenities (fridge, iron, flat-​screen TV) and the bed, which was somewhat comfortable.
You get what you pay for, but consider that there are plenty of inexpensive lodging options near Arkadelphia.
