All About Nails

The people there are nice but was not happy at all with the way my nails turned out. i got my fingernails done last night right before they closed and 2 of my nails now have a chip in them this morning. how it happened idk but I’ve never had this happen at any other salon. i chose this place because I work nearby and it was convenient. yea the prices are a little lower than average but like they say … YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

I sat down and specifically asked for a white over white French no chip manicure. The manicurist said okay and on We went. As my one hand finished drying she said ok that one’s done. I said what about the white Polish over the tips? She had no idea what I was talking about. She had to ask the manicurist next her. I told her I wanted white over white tips. Her answer was No. They will turn yellow, this more natural. Seriously! I’ve had plenty French manicures of all colors both no chip and regular. They have never turned yellow. When I asked her to add white to it anyway she said no to late I add top coat already. What a waste of money! Don’t get No Chip French here! She understood when asked how much I was going to tip, $ 2. She understood that! $ 29 for tips and base coat. Not worth it! I will not go back again! At least I got a free bottle of water :)

Lee is the best! I love my manicure & pedicure every time! You can walk in or make an appointment. Their color selection is up to date featuring Opi and Essie and several others. It is so relaxing and they also have TVs and magazines if you want to watch and relax.

My nail tech was nice, but that’s about it. Anyone who says this place is clean must live in a barn. There was open food everywhere, old coffee cups strewn about, and there were fruit flies pestering me in the pedi chair.
There was no AC turned on today, just the front and back doors open and fans running, which probably didn’t help the fly situation any. Its July! Turn on your AC!!!
Every time I come to this place I beat myself up afterwards for being so stupid. You really get what you pay for. I got a pedi and a no-​chip. The nail polish they used for my pedi was all crusty and thick, so its really uneven. The no-​chip was totally rushed, and one hand was cured for much longer than the other. I have ripples, bubbles, uneven polish, and polish on my skin and hanging off of the nails. My tech left lotion all over my arms and legs, not rubbed in at all.
I’m not even going to go back in there to have it fixed. I’m just going to pray I don’t get any sort of unhealthy side effects, and cross this place off my list FOREVER.
UPDATE: Not even 12 hours into my no-​chip manicure and one of my nails is already chipped and ruined.

I have been going here for 10 years. They have the best and most professional CLEAN nail salon I have ever been to. They are kind and professional and very reasonably priced. I would tell anyone that they are a 10+ in my opinion and I have been to many many nail salons in the 35 plus years of getting my nails done. Do not pass this salon up ever!

Had a little time to kill so I thought I would pamper myself and also continue my search for a good «manny». Well on a Friday things can get a little hectic with everyone wanting to look their best for the weekend, but the sign said «walk-​ins» welcome. So I walked in and was greeted right away. There was a person in every chair and a few in the pedicure chairs, but they asked me to pick a color and someone would be right with me.
I do French manicure so no need to pick a color, but before I could sit down-​they called me to a chair. The offered me a bottled water and started to work. Best part was the warming mitts that they put on after they have slathered your hands in lotion.
In 20 minutes I was done and my nails looked great! They also do eyebrow waxing and acrylics and gels.
Very clean and friendly and I heard they have been here a while.
I’m going to see how long my manicure lasts and then — — probably go back and possibly even put an end to my quest???
