Denny’s

I’ve been here many times! It’s a Denny’s. Don’t expect anything above average… again it’s a denny’s. The waiters are all fantastic and super nice but almost any changes/​coupons you bring in needs to be approved by the manager. Everything is so strict that the waiter complained to us one day about it.
I keep coming back here for light meals like appetizers or deserts because they make them well and it’s open late. So I can sit here for hours and not worry about having to get kicked out.
I’ve been to a 2 star hotel once in my life, the inside of this Denny’s reminds me of it.

The service was kind and fast. The food was very bad though. Nachos were too much heartburn cheesey. And the sandwich was ok (grand slam). Hash browns were weak.

Denny’s is Denny’s. I’m not gonna comment on the food because it’s the same every where. However, this specific Denny’s has a terrible smell. It smells like when you drive by a farm and they are spreading manure. It’s really bad in the bathrooms. I think their septic system is backed up. It kind of makes you sick and not want to eat there.

When u walked in, had a very bad smell even we came yesterday! Like I went in a very old motel, inside was dark, old restaurant! When u went to the lady’s restroom even worse made me wanna to throw up! Lose my appetite!

A friend of mine worked as a waiter here.
THEY OCCASIONALLY DROP FOOD AND SERVE IT
THE MANAGER IS PENNY CHEAP PUSHING THE EMPLOYEES AND OFTEN THE CUSTOMERS
I also ordered the new invisible woman breakfast and all there was is a very small portion of hash browns and the plate is made up with one sausage and one bacon with burnt pancakes
The worst Denny’s I have been to and will never come back to this one
This place smells like urine and old

Very Bad experience. My baby and I came to have lunch with my husband who had only 30 mins for lunch time. We ordered food. 16 mins later the waitress came out and said that there were no meat ball left. I order other food right away. My husband’s lunch time was over with no food on the table. He paid the food and came back to work. I waited and had the food to go. They saw me with my purse, 2 bags full of food, and carrying the baby who almost fell down But did not help me open the door to leave or hold the bags for me.
Never come back again though my husband is working next door

This Denny’s is my Favorite one However, the cook this morning needs to have his fingers tied together !!! I’ll post a picture of why !! Not only Burnt but Extra Burnt !! The second try wasn’t much better !!

A good friend of mine used to work here and he had told me a bunch of stories. For one, they mostly hire illegal Mexicans. The owner is a penny thief. They have on occasion dropped food on the floor in the back and put it back on a plate to serve it. Their manager is rude and pushy to employees and sometimes customers.
Yeah, it’s a chain and maybe this is a bad one, but truthfully there is something fundamentally wrong with the owners. Do they really need to pay so little and hire only Mexicans?

I have been here 6 to 8 times. The service and food is standard and great i here like any othe Denny’s i had been to. Especially at night what better place to hit.
They also give the AAA discounts which is great

They get one star because the server was on top of things – he even was great as refilling the the burnt tasting coffee. dirty, empty and how do you mess up pancakes?

I mean it is Denny’s… what can you really say?! You get what you pay for.
I got the French Toast platter and it was about what you would expect from Denny’s for about 5 or 6 bucks. The eggs were cooked properly (over easy) and the bacon was wimpy and greasy. Coffee was just okay.
Service was okay.

Dirty place, bad smell, boring food! Just like every other greasy spoon. Flies are always having a party at the table, incredibly gross!!!

We ordered here for lunch last week and I am usually a fan of Denny’s but not this one.
I placed our order for pickup and upon walking into the resturant I was hit by a wall of humidity. I would have not been able to dine in. Also the place smelled like urine. The line to check out was down the hall.
I was completely unimpressed and will not return.

Eating at Denny’s late night is like playing Roulette. You either leave satisfied & happy you went or you leave feeling like you went 10 rounds with Manny Pacquiao.
The key to a good Denny’s is finding one with good service & decent food. Most of the Denny’s I have been too lately have not only had terrible service but terrible food & half the meals looked like some one smashed their face in them before they brought it to the table. This Denny’s however wasn’t that bad.
Me & my friends came here late night on Black Wednesday. I ordered Biscuits & Gravy. The waitress brought my biscuits & gravy out & after I took a bite I asked her if the cook forgot to put it on the stove because it was ice cold. I then proceeded to ask the waitress if they could heat the food up & she took it back to the kitchen no problem. Usually after the food comes out cold you know the meal is going to be pretty bad but to my surprise the food came back nice & hot & was actually pretty good. My friends however did not enjoy their food as much.
Some Denny’s remind me of an upscale truck stop but this one was better than most. The best part of this restaurant was the service. Our waitress was very prompt & friendly & would make me want to eat here again.
The food was not overly expensive about $ 8 a person. Overall I gave it 2 stars because I have had better from Denny’s & my food came out cold but I would probably come here again at 4 in the morning for some food.

we have gone there the past couple fridays and we have had the waitress“may” she is so pleasant and the service there is wonderful. The food was great –hats off to the chef who works on friday nights around 10ish — great job :)

The main reason we dine here is because of its service. The employess at this Denny’s location are super friendly and wear smiles on their faces! You won’t find people like them at the Denny’s in Palatine or Hoffman Estates, unfortunately.
The food is OK. They also have no problem with substitutions! They make breakfast all day and have started making meals for the health conscious. They stil have the Superbird and the Moons Over My Hammy!
This particular restaurant feels more like a diner. It’s long and narrow with booths on either side of a wide aisle. The only thing missing is a counter with stools.
Don’t worry, they do have another room designated for large parties and they don’t rush you out of here.

Denny’s was a regular stop since it was next door to the hotel. Since they are open 24×7, you can’t go wrong when you want something to eat. The menu is varied and you can’t go wrong when breakfast is offered all day! That means you can sleep in late, take your time getting up and dressed and STILL enjoy a nice hearty breakfast with plenty of coffee. The pancake puppies are not to bad either. It’s good to have choices when you are staying at a hotel and this Denny’s gave me plenty in the morning, the middle of the day, and late night.
