I have never written a review but this company warrants one! They are horrible and appear to know very little about servicing refrigerators. He shook a couple electrical wires and said it should be fine. It cooled for several hours and then died again. Please never ever call this company unless you want to waste a day off work and to have your refrigerator still not work properly.

This company should close their doors. They came out to fix my washer. Their service guy came out and looked at it and said he had to order a part. After 4 days he came back out and replaced a part. Machine still did not work. He ordered another part. After 3 or 4 days he came back and installed another part. It still did not work. I diagnosed the problem and went to sears appliance parts, bought a $ 78.00 door lock switch, put it in and now it works. They would not re-imburse my initial $ 75.00 deposit. Don’t waste your money. I saw the reviews and was skeptical to have them fix my dryer but they had come in the past twice to fix my washing machine and I didn’t have any issues with them. Although they were prompt, they charged me $ 105 for basically unplugging my machine and plugging it back in saying the problem was fixed as it was now able to be turned on. After several attempts to explain the it works but then never shuts off, he finally understand but said that would cost me another $ 45 – 60 to figure out the problem and then an additional cost to clean it. Total waste of money and nothing was fixed!

Absolutely unprofessional and horrible service! Our fridge has been broken on and off for months now, and each time this company comes to «fix» it, they put a band aid on it, but can’t actually tell us what is wrong with the unit. After questioning them as to why they can’t figure out the reason why our fridge wasn’t working, he stormed out of my house. They now refuse to service our fridge. Completely useless and unprofessional. BEVERYAWARE!!!

I have come to realize that our experiences are also affected by our own attitude towards the people who serve us. My experience with the employees of L Electronics have been an awesome one. They greeted me kindly and helped me immediately. I made an attempt to clean my camera on my own and FAILED!!! So I just Unilocaled the closest place and found this company. The reviews were not so great but I took a gamble. I have always said never to take one Unilocaler’s word for it and experience it for yourself because you may just get a different one. They said it would cost me $ 70 to have my camera cleaned. It was super dirty and have never been cleaned since I bought it from my cousin years ago. It only took 24 hours to get done and it was with a smile and I think I made friends here. Yes, understanding what they were saying to me was a little challenge on my part but taking the time to listen and just being patient made a difference. What made my experience different, I am not so sure. But, they were super nice to me and I was happy with what I got. I’ll be coming here more often to get my camera cleaned. «What I give, for the most part, is what I get in return.»

These guys are bad. We used them only after calling LG as these are their authorized partners. We had an engineer come out to ‘fix’ our washer. Through broken English and a receipt that said ‘broken drum’, I thought we had a ‘broken drum’, which was covered under warranty. The next day we got a phone call to say there were other parts needed and it wasn’t just a broken drum. We never got a good answer as to why this wasn’t indicated on the receipt or by the service engineer. Seems more than a bit strange. They were now looking for over $ 200 to fix on top of the $ 60 call out and $ 45 labor we’d already paid.

Called Wednesday for an appointment on Saturday to repair our LG washer. Appointment window was 1 – 5. Daniel called before he arrived to let me know he would arrive between 1−130pm. He arrived right on time, diagnosed the problem with the washer, fixed the issues plus gave me tips for cleaning the washer & gasket. Good experience for us.

Do not use this place. I was forced to use them through my home warranty. They barely speak English. When they were fixing my dryer, they bumped my washer and disconnected the water hook up. I ran the washer and it caused flooding all over my mud room on 1st floor, and leaked through to my basement — through the basement ceiling and floor. I called them to explain and they would not admit fault — worse, they could barely communicate with me because of their lack of English. Very unprofessional. They showed up with barely any tools and did not piece my dryer back together properly and left me with a lot of expensive water damage that I had to pay for myself. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau.

I have a wonderful experience with L Electronics. Several years ago, my little son broke his brand new camera that he got for Christmas. I found this place on line and took my son who was in tears. The lady fixed it right there without any charge! She told us the problem was minor and said Merry Christmas! We have been using this place since then. They always keep their time. Their shop may not look the fanciest place but I am glad that I know that I have a place to take my broken appliances without worrying about hidden charges.

Thankfully, I’ve had a better experience than other reviewers, which I was not expecting. Scheduling was very quick and easy, I called at 1pm and they were here by 2:30pm same day. I explained what was going on(my LG dryer smelled like it was burning) and he got right down to trouble shooting the issue. Within an hour and a half my dryer was fixed. Lint had got into the electronics and had caught fire, thus causing the burning smell. This was caused by a poor job of the duct cleaners I had hired 6 months ago. He went ahead and cleaned/vacuumed everything out including the duct work. The reasons I am giving 4 stars is: the area was left a little messy, he could have vacuumed up the lint that was left on the carpet since he already had the vacuum and he didn’t move the washer back to it’s place properly; I couldn’t open the washer door because the closet door was blocking it. I was able to move it over with a few good pushes. Overall, good experience. Will try the dryer in a little bit!

I called this morning after calling LG to troubleshoot my front loading washer that was leaking. This is the only place that LG has on their website for repairs in the NW Suburbs of Chicago. When I called, I didn’t even get a voicemail. After reading the other reviews it was probably good that they didn’t answer. Any professional business that is successful at least has a professional phone system and a website. If you have an LG washer, please look at other appliance shops on Unilocal,I think I found a good one that repairs LG.

If I read the previous reviewer’s feedback, I would never call this place. I had to haul my own refrigerator to the service location because they would have to charge a lot of money because they say it would cost more than $ 200 just for the trip. Gave us 30 day warranty on the work and 8 days later it broke down again and never got a call back. Charged $ 215.00 to recharge freon, you read it right, $ 215.00 to put more freon. They are representing themselves as certified LG technician. I just can’t believe LG is letting them do this. Avoid at all cost!
