Tempco Heating and Air was professional, quick to schedule the new installation of both my air conditioning unit in July and the new heating unit in September. Jason and Chris were polite and very fair in their assessment of what my condo needed. Jason made a point of explaining the SEERS rating needed for a small condo versus a home and I very much appreciate the truthfulness of this company. It can be difficult to know whom to trust, but these two men have my confidence in the business of air conditioning and heating. It’s reassuring to know that while they do new installations for large builders, they also make time for customers like myself, that are looking to replace one unit at a time.

Tempco is an extremely good HVAC company to deal with. Their technician’s are good and are not out to rip you off. I had a clean and check performed by Four Seasons and they told me my capacitor was bad. I realized that it was under warranty and did some research through the builder for my home to discover that it was Tempco that did my HVAC system. Tempco came out to do the warranty repair and it turned out my capacitor was working good as new. Jeff showed me what I need to look at to ensure the capacitor was bad and sure enough it was well within spec and didn’t need replacement. Four Season’s wanted to charge me almost $ 300 to replace the capicitor(Seriously!?) He replaced it as a favor to me for coming out though which was a great touch on their end, free of charge. Great experience and all future clean and checks and maintenance will be booked through Tempco. DONOTUSEFOURSEASONSTHEYWANTTORIPYOUOFF. Thank you Tempco.

Backstory — We live in a fairly new home(4 years old) and experienced a broken furnace during the winter. After many nights of low 50 degree temps in our home, and me ditching my DIY attitude, I caved in and called Tempco. My fear before calling for service would be a very long wait for an appointment and inflated prices. Man, was I wrong! I called them on 2÷5÷10 and was able to schedule someone for same day service. The rate was afforable and much lower than local competitors. Tempco worked with my schedule to make sure I could make it home from work in time to meet the tech — I work in the city and live in Aurora. The tech arrived right on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He walked me through standard maintenance of the furnace and how to tell if a gas sensor is dirty — the problem that lead to many cold nights. We talked about causes and common solutions as well as when to call the tech when problems like this or worse happen again. Before I called Tempco I was expecting the worse and disapointed in my DIY ability. These people did a wonderful job of fixing the problem quickly, providing a great value and huge savings compared to others, and were very easy to relate with and talk to — they are everyday people.
