The arlington convention center is not as big as the one in Houston or Vegas but it does the job depends on the convention. Make sure that you go online and you see all the exhibitors list before you buy a booth or space for exhibition

I have attended two events here in the last four months. The inside of the venue is pretty nice and I have not tried the concessions as both events I’ve been to here were catered. The only thing I don’t like about this place is how ridiculous the parking is — specifically to get out of the place. Funneling 2,000+ cars out of one single-car exit means a LOT of sitting in your car trapped in your space.

I’m from out of town, coming into Arlington for a convention. The venue is nice and is well complimented by the Sheraton across the parking lot. However, if you’re planning a convention here, you’ve really got to keep in mind the time of year(avoiding the major sporting events). I exhibited at a show this weekend… the same time as an Aggies v Razorbacks game(up the street), so you can imagine how great parking and traffic was. As soon as that ended, the Rangers game one of their series with Tampa Bay(across the street). WTH?! The Dallas-Fort Worth area is HUGE! Why does everything have to be on top of everything else? Why does this particular part of Arlington have to shut down for anyone who isn’t tailgating? I’m all for grabbin’ a beer and enjoying a game, but with the traffic and $ 40/day parking, maybe this isn’t the best time/place to try to have a tradeshow. ___________ Notes: * Concession stand isn’t the usual hot dogs and over-priced hamburgers… they have homemade chili as well as Frito-pie.

We have our annual Frontier Winterfest at the Arlington Convention Center over 3000 in attendance. Great place. Arlington rocks!
