Baba’s Big Bite

This was my first time at Baba’s and I will preface this review by saying I will be coming back at some point. The sub was O.K. — I got the cheesesteak but pepper style — so it was a little spicier than the normal cheesesteak. There was good variety on the menu, although it seemed like EVERYTHING had mushrooms on it! Be wary of your exact order or you might find a surprise shroom or two on your sandwich. The fries that come as the side are fantastic! But I’m a sucker for seasoned fries anyway. He also offers chips as a side and adding a drink (soda, bottled water) for an extra dollar. My biggest complaint for this trip was the waiting time. I know he couldn’t help it because it seemed like he was short-​staffed (he was the only one working the truck) and he was apologizing profusely when he was getting orders out. If it’s only him working next time I might skip out. Otherwise, it’s a pretty good meal!

Their food truck was at the NLDS viewing of Nationals vs Giants.
We bought the home style veggie burger and teriyaki steak n cheese. Both were amazing!
The veggie burger was the best I’ve ever had! If we lived in DC, we’d be at their restaurant all the time! Definitely try!

I got the smokey burger and it was pretty good. I really liked the BBQ sauce on it but the meat was a little tough. It was supposed to come with grilled onions but mine didn’t seen to have any so that was a bit if a disappointment. Also, I think the burger was supposed to come with chips which I also didn’t get… But I will say getting a pretzel bun was a nice option.

Baba’s are outside in Rossyln! My co-​worker just came in. OMG potato’s were delish and that hamburger smells awesome! Mmm i’m on my way to get mine right now.

Really good! Just had it for lunch. I always saw it on FoodTruckFiesta and for some reason never tried it out or even looked at the menu. Boy, was I making a mistake!
The sandwiches are so delicious especially because of their sauces. You can order any of the sandwiches and then pick between ribeye steak or grilled chicken. I ordered the Chicken Cajun Bite. I tried the Cajun mayo sauce and the Sriracha mayo sauce and both were mouth watering! My friend has the original and also swore by it. They gave us a sample of the chili and mannnn, if that sandwich didn’t stuff me I definitely would’ve ordered some. My male coworker did not have that problem, haha.
I definitely recommend checking them out. The guys who run the truck are super friendly too. Can’t wait to fill up this loyalty card!
