We visited the urgent care and received excellent care and so decided to move to their clinic. What a mistake! Rude schedulers and no openings! I have tried to schedule 4 times and give up!

Ive been here three times. I have to say, the only reason this does not get five stars is that sometimes there is quite a wait to get in… If you want to be seen right away, come in at 7:30 am or later in the day — but call first to see how they are running. My husband and I were there a couple weeks ago for sore throat, earache. Got in almost immediately, saw Dr. Brooks — what a sweetheart, and boy is he informational! He answers all your questions and is matter of fact. We love him! And a further plus… have never had them mess up a bill or a prescription. The receptionists are always helpful and kind, the triage nurses are beyond kind… I once had to wait for awhile in the waiting room and they brought me a WARMBLANKET because I had the chills. It’s always clean and quiet, and I love how the sun shines in while you are waiting. I am such a fan of this place that I am going to change my preferred provider from Virginia Mason in Kirkland to here.

Nothing wrong with my visit. I was in and out. Seen promptly. The lady’s I saw were nice. The place was clean. The only thing I didn’t like was that I wasn’t actually diagnosed with anything. «Take some antibiotics and an inhaler and if it doesn’t get better come back»

I will say… the only plus to this place is that the facility is new, and so it looks pretty nice. Other than that… I’m not happy with my experience. I normally go to the Everett Clinic when I need to go to a walk-in clinic/urgent care. However, because of my work schedule, I went to Cascade Skagit Health Alliance Urgent Care Clinic. I checked in, paid my normal copay and I saw a doctor who met with me for about 5 minutes. I was concerned about a UTI, and so they said they would go ahead and do a urinalysis(which has always been covered by my insurance) and call me with the results. Great… off to work I went. To my surprise, 2 months later, I get a bill in the mail for almost $ 300 for this quick little visit. I called my insurance company to ask why it hadn’t been covered. They let me know that this Urgent Care CLINIC billed this visit as an «outpatient HOSPITAL visit.» I called the billing department that sent me the bill. When I asked why the bill was so high, and why it was billed as a hospital visit, they let me know that«all billing is now through Skagit Valley Hospital, and will show up as HOSPITAL charges for any lab work done at the CLINIC.» I asked if it could be resubmitted to my insurance as a clinic charge rather than a hospital charge. The answer was no. I spoke with several different people in their billing department, all telling me different information. When I got to the supervisor, her solution was to mail me a comment card to voice my complaint. Why would I possibly go to this clinic, when I can go up the road to Everett Clinic, where their billing practices are clear and fair. Where I have had the exact same lab work done, and it’s been covered by my insurance because it was billed correctly by the Everett Clinic’s billing department. Cascade Skagit Health Alliance charging me for a hospital visit is a pretty big jump from a 10 – 15 minute visit to their Urgent Care Clinic. No where did it say that the fees charged for this CLINIC would be HOSPITAL fees. Not a single doctor or nurse gave me a heads up. And the billing department provided mediocre customer service at best. Watch out for this«Clinic» and their misleading billing practices. I will not be back, nor could I recommend this facility. In fact, I would strongly recommend against it.
