Sadly, the Choupi cart closed for good a couple of weeks ago. I and my family loved it dearly and will miss it very much. We brought so many of my daughter’s friends here to share the experience. Thanks, Sabri, for all of the delicious crepes and wonderful memories! Best wishes.

DISCLAIMER: I have not actually eaten here. I’m just reaching out to fellow Unilocalers to provide some clarification – I tried going to this food truck yesterday and I could not find it!!! It got to the point where I was just wandering around the 66 freeway entrance and cars were looking at me funny, like, is she about to walk onto the freeway? Then today, I found Choupi’s twitter page where it says that the food truck is now closed? Can someone confirm? All I want are delicious crepes :(

The dessert crepes are amazing. The serving size is great and price is too. My favorite is the banana peanut butter for a breakfast snack. I haven’t tried the savory crepes but they look pretty good. Filling portions are perfect so you have filling in every bite. My only complaint is the site isn’t updated so you don’t know for sure if the truck will be there or not unless you go to the location. Wait time for a crêpe is about 4 minutes and price is about $ 5 a crêpe.

Started a new job in Rosslyn recently and was excited to try Choupi after finding it through Unilocal.Choupi is located at 1999 N Lynn St right now as someone else mentioned, not 1900. I feel bad that Choupi is made to park away from the foot traffic and food trucks on Wilson Blvd, because I’m sure they would get more business otherwise. On the plus side for the location, the service was very fast: less than 5 minutes to get a fresh ham/cheese/bell pepper crêpe which was excellent! Perfect for this gloomy day. Can’t wait to get a Nutella crêpe next time :) This is a great spot and I hope that Choupi sticks around.

Good amount of food for the price. Definitely, have to try the Mexican Ceaser salad. Employees very friendly and keep lines moving while getting orders correct.

Delicious and great experience. There was no line when I got there so I walked right up and ordered the mushroom cheese and onion crêpe for lunch since it was a favorite from other reviewers. It’s a pretty simple menu without too many savory options, just like it is in most of Paris. The crêpe was perfectly cooked, fresh ingredients and a wondrous combination of flavors. I had to go back for the Nutella, banana and pecan crêpe which was also incredible.

This place is AMAZING! We had one sweet crêpe and one savory crêpe. They were both mouth watering. Choupi has a list of ingredients you can choose from to fill your crêpe. In our sweet crêpe we had nutella, banana and pecans. In the savory crêpe we had spinach, mushrooms, onions and cheese. YUM!

There’s not much I can say about this place that hasn’t been said. Unilocalers got this one right. I’m on the bandwagon. Love this place! Food cart located on the Rosslyn side of the Key Bridge. The gentleman that owns it does a fantastic job and makes each crêpe fresh as you wait… usually in less than ten minutes. I love Choupi crepes and usually go with the Nutella and banana… They also have strawberry as well as cheese, veggies and meat. They are good sized crepes. I find them big enough for a meal and usually stop in for breakfast but. $ 5 for a crêpe comparable in quality and price to what you’d get in Paris is amazing in my book. Beats the lunch lines at Chipotle and other local places too.

I love their crepes. I love that they have sweet and savory options. Its almost like having a pancake… who doesn’t like pancakes? The first time I went I had a Nutella crêpe, it was awesome but the taste of the nutella became overwhelming for me. I like to get it with honey and bananas, or if I’m in the mood for something savory I like the ham and cheese or the mozzarella and tomato. The service is really fast and the owner is really nice. I love his accent.

Whenever I travel to DC my first food stop is always choupi. I love this guy. He makes crepes for breakfast lunch or dessert. They are always fresh and tastes amazing!

Embarrassed to admit that I had judged the book by its cover again… I had seen this small crêpe truck before but had no idea it would have such high ratings on Unilocal until only recently. I tried the turkey, cheese and bell peppers crêpe(they were out of ham) and it was absolutely delicious, although a bit too heavy on the cheese… the crêpe was piping hot, fresh and crispy, embodying everything you could ask for in a crêpe. I loved the fresh bell pepper and its crunchiness and will definitely be adding it again. The service was extremely quick(less then 5 minutes!), and the owner was so incredibly sweet. I’ll definitely be back!

OMG this place is the best! I have wanted to try it for a while but never was able to due to its limited hours. But when the metro broke down and I ended up walking to Georgetown to find a way to work I miraculously came across this place, a tiny little food stand before memorial bridge. I ordered a ham, egg, and cheese crêpe and it was totally amazing. It was perfectly golden and melt-in-mouth. It actually made my morning, it was that good. I honestly wouldn’t mind the metro breaking down more often if it meant I got to come to choupi for fantastic crepes(jk…sorta). I feel like the other options wouldn’t disappoint here either. At $ 5 too it is a great value — it definitely filled me up… although really, I wanted to eat several more out of sheer deliciousness(or fat-ass-ness). I will absolutely have to come back!

Cart is now located ~1999 N Lynn St(SW Corner of N Lynn St and Lee Highway in Arlington) I’ve been eating Choupi crepes for several years. and they are amazing! I usually go for the savories. ham, mushroom, &/or cheese, sometimes spinach & feta, sometimes an egg-based combination earlier in the day, or another savory combination. Every crêpe has been worth each bite. Sometimes I treat myself to a dessert crêpe, usually nutella with strawberry or banana. These crepes melt in your mouth. He is a true craftsman so this is the only time in my day that I happily await the finished product. The prices are really good too. Its disappointing to see construction and officials keep moving this small business. Selfishly I want Choupi to make enough money to stick around and keep indulging my food cravings! So tasty. Unfortunately, his latest location gets little foot traffic and there are few alternative spots nearby. Pedestrians probably have no inkling that a real chef, Sabri Uzun [French-born former pastry chef at the Willard Hotel(InterContinental)], is inside this unassuming yellow cart. It was a happy surprise to me too. Go find him– so worth it!

Our crepes were delicious! We both got savory crepes. They were very satisfying. The crêpe itself was the perfect balance between soft and crisp! Each one was made to order and expertly prepared. You just can’t beat the price either. One thing that’s a little confusing is that the sign says waffles and crepes but I don’t think he makes waffles. There’s no pricing for waffles.

Choupi is SOADORABLE! :D Owned by a French crêpe-making master, Sabri Uzun, he is the sweet and friendly guy who makes all the crepes to order out of this little cart. Their goal is to provide fresh and bistro-quality crepes & waffles for everyone, and the menu offers two categories: ‘Savory’(which includes meats(ham, turkey, and egg), veggies(tomato sauce, mushroom, onion, spinach, bell pepper, and crushed pepper), and cheeses(mozzarella, feta, and 4 cheeses), and ‘Sweet’(sauces(Nutella, caramel, chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow, maple syrup, and honey), preserves(strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, orange, and apricot), fresh fruits(bananas, strawberries, apple cinnamon, and sugar lemon), and nuts(pecan, almonds, coconut, walnuts, and chocolate brownies). There’s also a little section of ‘Choupi’s Favorites’ that comes pre-set with a combination for breakfast, lunch, and dessert, if you’re indecisive on which ingredient(s) to choose. I’ve only tried their dessert crepes: the Nutella, Banana & Pecan(slices of banana, chunks of pecan nuts, and drizzling of the Nutella sauce) and a customized one(fresh sliced strawberries, sugar lemon, and orange preserves) — both come in a lovely crêpe, in which the batter was quite delicious! Cooked perfectly, the crêpe itself was filled with the ingredients, and folded expertly in a little brown paper for easier handling and consuming. Definitely eat this when it’s hot and fresh! Mr. Sabri was oh-so-sweet, and I’d love to come back and try out their savory crepes and other combinations of the sweets! +perfect little made-to-order crepes(savory and desserts) +located at the corner of Lee Highway and N Lynn Street(in front of the inlingua English Center) +owned by Mr. Sabri Uzun: D

I trekked out in ice to visit Choupi and it was definitely worth it! The place is not a restaurant, but rather a stand/cart in Rosslyn. It’s located on Lynn street, very close to the Key Bridge. I’m glad I trekked out on a day that I could, since they’re only open on weekdays from 7:30am-3:00pm. I like that they’re open even on icy days and I also like the fact they are so responsive by email. They don’t have a phone number listed on their website, but they responded within the hour to my email inquiring as to whether they were still open on that icy day I visited. The Crepes are each $ 4 for the base, with each added topping being $ 0.50. Where else could you get such a great deal in the DC area? They serve breakfast and lunch(both sweet and savory crepes) and also dessert. I ordered the ham, cheese, tomato, and mozzarella crêpe, and for just $ 6.00, I got a very generously portioned and tasty crêpe. Very delicious and filling, though probably not the best crêpe I’ve ever had. Still, it’s worth trekking out to Rosslyn for and I highly recommend it!

Do not underestimate and walk past this tiny unassuming food cart! This one man shows churns out the best crepes I’ve ever had. A lot tastier(and cheaper) than crepes at sit down cafes/brunch places I’ve been to in the area. I’ve had both the sweet and savory kinds from Choupi and I’m a fan of both. Price starts at $ 3.50 and it’s an additional 50 cents for every topping you want. Super tasty and cheap? Def 5 stars! Sadly he’s only in Rosslyn on weekdays.

Who would have thought this little box would churn out one of the BEST crepes I have ever had! I had some trouble finding this place, thanks to all the lousy construction around and when the little blue dot on Google told me I was finally here(damn those touch gloves sitting in my car when I needed them most!), I was content stuffing my hands back into my pockets and stare somewhat dismally at this little box of a place. I knew I was expecting a truck, but this is a TINY minivan container thingie. The fact that the amazing and cute guy inside was able to turn 360 degrees without hitting stuff with amazing dexterity was feat in itself — I have not even gotten to ordering anything yet. So anyways, I order my spinach feta crêpe and curse the chilly winds and the Arlington county for the stupid construction all around, and in my mind I am like. I dont know if I should have trusted all those Unilocal reviews. this little shack looks SOOOO dicey! Once I had snatched my little brown bag from the cute guy, paid the 5.50(what??? am I back in India? all these cheap prices) I scurried back like a hare up to the safe warmth of my cube. One bite of my crêpe and I was in heaven. So yeah, shame on my for doubting fellow Unilocalers! The crêpe itself was perfect — fluffy and crisp and yummy at the same time. The filling was fresh and it was the perfect amout. It was only the thought of the chilly winds that kept me from scampering down for another one. Oh dont get me wrong — the size of the crêpe was fine and good for lunch — I am just a FATTY of the highest order, that’s all! rest assured, the next time I am at the Rosslyn office for work, the little shack will see me again. way to go guys! :)

What’s better than a savory crêpe for breakfast ? What about a cheap savory crêpe(avg $ 5.50) ? What about a cheap, delicious, savory crêpe ? this was my default breakfast while in DC. If you stay in Arlington it’s close to subway stop and Hyatt. I had mushroom egg and cheese one morning, spinach, cheese and egg the next and each were fabulous. Crispy, well balanced and real fresh ingredients. My mom, who was travelling with me, also enjoyed her crepes. I do wish they had coffee(actually my does, I drank orange juice) but there is a starbuck’s and cosi across the street. They do have sweet crepes, but that’s my taste, especially in the morning.
