Goat cheese was not edible and the roasted beet salad was written as having roasted beets and toasted walnuts from the menu description, but it had neither. It had boiled beets and raw walnuts which was fine but it annoys me when something that simple is misrepresented on a menu. Why can’t I get good airport food in 90% of airports?

The plus: service was polite and attentive. The food was fine. Portions are huge. Wine selection is pretty decent for an airport place. The minus: Food is too rich; you may want to skip if right before a flight. The price is too high, probably because it’s at the airport.

Just had a few glasses of wine, but I had to drag it out of the staff. Felt like I was a total inconvenience.

Food may be great… the service is HORRIBLE! Good luck if your flight is anytime soon!

I have eaten here multiple times while waiting for flights, which are frequently delayed on Friday nights. Overall, the food is good; last night I had a gouda panini which hit the spot. However, I need to take a moment to rave about the manager, Khalid. Upon landing, I realized that I did not have my iPad, which I had last used at Cibo. I called and Khalid advised me that they did have it and gave me his personal contact information to follow up in the morning. We spoke personally on the phone on a Saturday morning, and after sending him a UPS label, he took his time to ship it back to me. That is beyond customer service; that is being the exceedingly rare, genuinely nice and honest person. I won’t eat anyplace else on my frequent trips and during my long delays at DCA.

You don’t go into an airport restaurant expecting a 5 star meal, but whoa — — the whole experience was atrocious. I went for breakfast. Sat at the bar. My coffee and water(along with all other customers) were not refilled. I asked for a side of fruit, I got potatoes. My omelette was almost to the point of inedible greasy. I did have to catch a flight(shocking) so wasn’t exactly looking to hang around all day. My credit card sat on the bar for 15 mins as I waited to pay. Would not recommend.

I am extremely upset with this restaurant. I specifically told our waitress that I cannot have any milk in my food and she reassured me that what I wanted did not have any milk. I was slightly suspicious so I called them to verify and the gentleman that answered also reassured me there was no milk in what I ordered. Next day my baby starts to have the reaction she had in past when I had milk protein pass through my breastmilk to her. DON’T EATHEREIFYOUHAVE A FOODALLERGY!!!

You can’t expect too much from an airport restaurant. A lot of people complained about this place, but I found it decent. Food was good, service was good and again, to be an airport restaurant, overall it was good. I had the lentil soup, a side of salad and a pasta(Alfredo). Ignore all those bad reviews of people expecting to have the meal of their lives and were disappointed. You can have a decent lunch at this place.

On the outside this place looks very nice. Very clean and inviting. I had an omelette with spinach, mozzarella, and tomatoes. Maybe I’ve been spoiled, but my omelette wasn’t how I imagined it. The tomatoes might as well have been cut for a hamburger. I was hoping they would be diced Roma tomatoes. The mozzarella was just sliced chunks and cold and flavorless. And the spinach was grouped up on one side of the omelette. I was very very very disappointed. I’ve had better food at a truck stop Waffle House in the middle of nowhere.

The wine was warm. Like, not room temperature, but on the brink of a cooling down hot cocoa. Another person recognized the same thing and complained, and asked for a cabernet. Bartender said, well that’s how the next one is going to be… sigh. It just rubbed her the wrong way. I agreed. The burger wasn’t bad, the mozzarella slice that came with it starred in Honey I Shrunk the Mozz, so it only covered the middle 33% of the burger. Fries ok. You know those bartenders/servers that mean well and seem to work hard, but totally seem frazzled and complain about EVERYTHING they are doing? Yea, thats how I feel and it just makes me uncomfortable. Come for the frazzle, stay for the warm wine.

I never thought I’d be so pleased with an airport based eatery since the Legal Seafoods left DC’s RR International AP. Lovely omelette, just like I asked for it done — 1 egg, 2 egg whites, fluffy. Lovely. Clean kitchen. Bfast potatoes were not greasy/oily. Nice staff, nice cook. Just nice, really.

Average food. Over priced. No real wine list. They were out of basically everything allegedly. The wines on the wall are just for decoration and they don’t offer them.

I ordered an omelet without cheese and with turkey sausage and got an omelet with cheese and with pork sausage. Even had this been my order it was still terrible. Do yourself a favor: GOSOMEWHEREELSE!!!

TERRIBLE! My day was off to a rough start, so I stopped in because it seemed like a nice place to grab a quick breakfast and regroup to take on the rest of the day. It took about 5 minutes for the server to stop by my table. I ordered an omelette with feta cheese, tomatoes, and basil, a glass of orange juice and a cup of coffee. After about 10 minutes, the server returned with a cup of coffee. It wasn’t very big, just a standard 8-ounce ceramic cup. About 10 minutes later, the food arrived. The«omelette» looked awful. It was just a dry, rubbery, overcooked(to the point of being charred black in spots) pile of scrambled eggs with feta cheese mixed in with it. I could not identify tomatoes or basil in this heap, either visually or by taste. It came with hash browns, which were fine, and toast, which was dry. There was no butter, preserves, or any other type of spread served with the toast. I ate this mess only because I didn’t have that much time. The server disappeared after she delivered it. The remaining half cup of coffee I had didn’t last long, and she never did bring the OJ I ordered, so I ate most of my «meal» dry, including the toast. The server never once came back to check on me. I finished everything and continued to wait for her to return. It took about 20 minutes. When she finally did, I told her how bad I thought the service and the food was. I also told the manager how bad my experience was. He comped my meal and I left. If you’re looking for a nice, quick breakfast before you catch your flight, look somewhere else. This place has bad, overpriced food, and very poor, very slow service.

Wasn’t bad for an airport food spot. I had the shrimp scampi… but forgot that GARLIC was a main ingredient to the dismay of my fellow passenger! No True Blood or Twilight characters will bother me on the ride home! The linguine splashed a lil’ sauce on my dress shirt, but isn’t that a known risk? Almost ordered the mussels; lady next to me said they were yummy. Wine was good! Food was good! And anyone heading to New Orleans should be able to handle garlic!

Not a bad spot for eating for an airport. Tons of wine and beer and the prices were not outrageous in general. They have a pseudo patio but the restaurant also goes in enough where you feel isolated from the airport in a good way. We had breakfast and the omelette was well cooked as were the home fries. The eggs Benedict was cooked properly but pretty flavorless.

This review is for drinks only, and I am rounding up due to friendly service. They were smart to have a guy standing out front encouraging us to come in. Not that I need much encouragement to park it in a wine bar at an airport, especially when we’ve just found out that our flight was canceled and we have hours to wait! What was discouraging in this wine bar was, well, the wine. After asking for four different wines on the wine list that were not available, our Server finally said, let me see what we DO have. And it was okay. Just okay, and way too expensive for just okay. Despite being prepared to park it for hours, we moved on pretty quickly as a result. Suggestion to management: Update your wine list… have good, reasonably priced wines by the glass(you ARE a wine bar)…and we will come. And maybe stay for awhile! You have a good staff working for you, give them the tools to make it happen!

The nice white table cloths sucked us in; unfortunately, the service was far from«white table cloth» quality. The waitress seemed unaware of what she was supposed to do… beyond pushing the wine of the day. When I chose to order a different wine, she seemed downright disappointed, so clearlly there was some reward(punishment?) attached to getting customers to order that wine.(A tempranillo, which, by the way was misspelled on the menu.) My husband ordered vodka on the rocks. The waitress seemed unfamiliar with what«on the rocks» meant. We waited for 10 minutes with empty glasses for her to take our second drink order; we waited about 20 minutes for our food. In an airport! Someone should tell them airport people don’t usually have that kind of time. By the way, it’s not as if they were busy… there were four other people in the restaurant and two or three waitresses. In the end, the food was pretty good and the waitress was sweet, if totally clueless. Would I go back? No. I’d wait until SLC, where we found a very good restaurant with superb service.

This is about as good as you’re going to get at this airport, but it’s still overpriced. I would have been just as happy with the Qdoba that just opened, but didn’t see it until after I had sat down! The ambiance is way better here at Cibo, though, and since I had an hour to kill, might as well relax. I had a decent glass of local-ish riesling for about $ 8 and the lobster ravioli for less than $ 20.(see photos) The pasta could have used a little more sauce, but I got the feeling, by the service, that if I wanted more sauce they would have obliged– so my own fault. They also give you warm toasty bread and olive oil. The food was simply so-so. If you need service fast, they can do it– at first they were overly attentive(I was reading a book and could barely get through one page at a time) but I think once they realized I had time to kill they backed way off, and all was well. I would come again if I wanted to relax for a while before a flight, but if I was simply hungry and didn’t care about ambiance, Qdoba would have been just fine. This definitely beats those little muffin/hot sandwich airport kiosks though!
