Colonics By Sakinah

When I first walked into the store I was impressed by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. The place is spotless and carefully and constantly sanitized. They have many awesome machines, from ozone steam, to chi machines, to colonics with amazing water filtration as well as an option to add ozone… The equipment here is awesome, and prices are really awesome for what they offer in their packages.
The reason this review isn’t 5 stars is not because of cleanliness, or the machines, or any of that, but had to do with the unprofessional way I was treated when I decided that I didn’t want to do the 15 colonic package.
On my second visit I was offered the option to upgrade to the 15 colonic package ($ 855) which included all sorts of goodies and use of other machines. The package sounded really awesome to me and I was just about to get it. After meditating for a little bit I realized that I would have to commit to the 2hr+ round trip drive to get there, amidst my busy schedule filled with clients. To me it felt better to just take it on a one on one basis, and I also realized that I wasn’t really interested in using any of the other gadgets, but just the colonic.
My decision was to honor my own time. When I made the decision not to do the package, as a response, instead of a polite. «awesome, we value your decision and choice», the rest of my visit was used up attempting to convince me to choose the package. For some reason, instead of just saying «no means no!», I defended my decision over and over. I received some disrespectful and guilt provoking remarks from one person on the staff who said «did we not pamper you enough?»… and when I decided I didn’t want to use one of the machines a member of the staff gave me attitude about my choice.
I thought to myself «OK, maybe I’ll be able to enjoy the colonic itself in peace». So I finally got to the colonic after time wasted defending myself, and during the colonic I asked to be alone. One of the times that Sakeena came into the room, we spent about 5minutes talking about the same subject (the package) again… I asked for another 5mins added to my colonic since I was wasting my colonic time defending myself. which they gave me.
To me the energy, and the way I am treated in a place matters more than anything else. When I am paying money to receive a service I like to not JUST feel safe and valued, but if I am going to drive upwards of 2hrs AND pay for a service, I like to be celebrated and treated with care, acceptance, and honor.
I was not interested in coaching, or advice, I just really wanted a colonic. I spent a lot of time defending my decision to not by a $ 855 package. I was given a lot of uninvited advice that was used to convince me, and I did not appreciate it. As much as the quality of the equipment was 5 star and the cleanliness was 5 star, I don’t know if I can ever spend that much time and $ going back to this place considering the experience I just had.
I do think that they can and do benefit a lot of people with what they do, but learning to honor a clients boundaries would be a wise choice if they want to keep clients like me (who have strong boundaries).
Instead of coming out of what was supposed to be a nourishing, and nurturing visit, refreshed. I came out drained, stressed out, and feeling sick, worse than I felt going in there. I think I just have high standards of ethics and integrity, so these kind of things bother me more than most people.

Sakinah is amazing. Very wise. Very nurturing. This is a family business and it is all about YOU. You can tell she is passionate about your health. She will bend over backwards for you and go the extra mile to please her customers. I refer people to her all the time. I saw so much come out of my colon I was so shocked. Yet I’m thankful for people like her that feel a need to help us in that particular area…

WOW where to start? This place really is a spa and the staff are AMAZING. Get ready to be educated, cared for and pampered.
I’ve been going here now for 6 months for the colon therapy and have lost over 13lbs! YAAY and that’s just one of the positive side effects of being coached by Sakinah.

I have been to many wellness centers over the years and I have to say that Colonics by Sakinah provided by far the BEST customer service I have ever received. The facility is very cozy and inviting. Sakinah is a wealth of information and makes you feel so comfortable with every service that is performed. I would highly recommend buying one of her packages that provides a variety of services. You will get to experience a sample of services and then continue on with those that you feel gave you the best overall results. You will not be able to find another business in town that will provide you with the education and information that is provided during your session. I definitely learned a lot and will be making many future appointments with this facility. I sure hope anyone reading this will book an appointment and see the wonderful benefits from the services provided!!! You are AMAZING Sakinah! Thanks so much for all you do!!!
