This was my first visit to a Cracker Barrel and I loved it! I loved all the rocking chairs outside and checkers you can play at while waiting. The retail store inside has so much good stuff, where I needed 30 minutes to shop. We got seated pretty quickly for breakfast. I ordered the Old Timer’s breakfast which was like $ 9 and included 2 biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs, grits(which I love), potato casserole and turkey sausage. I was absolutely stuffed and ate everything on my plate. Service was quick and super friendly even when we kept adding people to our table.

Coming from California, I wanted to try this restaurant. Our server Zavier gave us excellent customer service and the meal was great. Zavier was so friendly and wonderful to have as a waiter. Would recommend him to have as a waiter. I really love the atmosphere and the merchandise. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was crowded inside the shop although the wait was only 25 minutes. I got the deep fried chicken and holy moly it was soooooo good. Seriously salivating right now. The corn bread was alright. I’ve had better in Maui lol. Our server was awesome very attentive. She made sure we received everything quick since we had a flight to catch. She was amazing.

I would like to say that Cracker Barrel by far has been the best place to go ever since my house flooded and as a result I have been forced to buy my meals. I come here sometimes for breakfast, lunch and sometimes even late at night around 9pm if I have the munchies. There servers are the bomb. Everytime I go there I usually get big boy breakfast, medium rare steak with scrambled egg whites and corn bread with their famous apple butter spread. Did I also mention that compared Denny’s or IHOP for the amount, quality of the food, Cracker Barrel tops all of them. So if you are tired of eating the oily omelets and half fried egg and meat breakfast plates at ihop or Denny’s or other mediocre breakfast joints try this place out.

Went earlier today around noon with little time to squeeze in a meal before our VIP tour at the AT&T stadium. Told the waitress we were in a bit of a hurry and they served us our meals in no time and it was delicious. Also very professional and nice staff. Asked if we needed anything on the go. Came from California and this place Definitely showed us some southern hospitality and Texas Love. Big Thanks!!! ;)

Has Cracker Barrel gone to selling franchises now? Because this Cracker Barrel location is the worst. Do yourself a favor and keep heading up the 360 to Grapevine or south, then west on I-20 to the one on Bowen! Prior to my visit to this CB, I had 2 bad experiences over the past 20+ years at CBs across the nation but this one, I have had 2 bad experiences in the span of 2 weeks. For the past two week, I have been in Dallas for business near DFW, and am staying nearby, so I figured this is the closest CB, quick and easy for breakfasts and dinners. My first meal at this CB was baked buttermilk chicken, broccoli and«rice pilaf» for dinner. The chicken was like shoe leather and the server laughed and said it was the last one. She did not bring the manager and she did not take it off the bill, I suppose because I ate the nearly raw broccoli and the very tasteless, dry rice — I was hungry. Smothering the chicken in sawmill gravy did not help either. Always giving any place a second chance(anyone can have a bad day), and because it was more local to me, the more recent meal was breakfast. I had the Old Timer’s Breakfast with toast on the side; who can screw up breakfast? THISCBCAN! The hash brown casserole was dry and crusty, the toast… no, the bread, was NOT toasted at all and the bacon strips at this CB are anything but thick applewood smoked bacon… they were thin and tasteless. Everyone at our table(6 of us) had breakfast and all of it was awful. Our server was a snotty woman who clearly hated being there. Obviously, this Cracker Barrel hires people who cannot succeed elsewhere and they clearly substitute cheap ingredients, rather than buying CB brand products because the other several Cracker Barrels within 15 – 20 miles of here are excellent. Again, move on down the road. There are too many other Cracker Barrels from which to choose that losing your money at this place is not worth it.

Stopped in for lunch to have a chef salad. Asked for all turkey(no ham), they didn’t include bacon. Had to ask for bacon and extra shredded cheese. The turkey was pulled from a whole cold turkey. Cold turkey fat is nasty as hell. It’s cold with slim. I didn’t have the best experience with my food order. However, the service was excellent.

One of my favorite places to get breakfast! They serve it all day errday, so that’s a plus. I tend to opt for the eggs in a basket with bacon and hash brown casserole– yummeh! Used to get my eggs sunny side up, but the yolk oozing out always gets so messy that I just ask for scrambled now. The eggs are put into two circular cutouts on their toast, all buttered, which makes it even… Butter! HAHAHAjks. And yeah, their hashbrown casserole is this cheesy, potato with some sprinkles of oniony goodness. It’s pretty bomb, not gonna lie. Their bacon isn’t always consistently crispy, but man oh man, when they do it right, it’s what you can call perfection. Other options that I like while feasting here would be their biscuits n gravy, one egg biscuit and bacon, and their chicken fried steak. Mhm, mhm. In addition, this isn’t on their menu, but I like to order a chocolate milkshake as well. Very delicious and it comes in a large beer mug with whipped cream on top! Interior decoration is really cool. There’s a ton of stuff to look at on the walls. Paintings, photographs, signs, figurines, globes, fashion sketches, you name it. I’ve also never had a problem with service. They are super packed in the mornings, so you might have to wait anywhere from 10 – 30 mins before they call your name for seating, but they’ll always inform you of the wait time in case you’re in a hurry elsewhere and would like to switch locations for dine in at another restaurant. There is also a gift shop fused inside of Cracker Barrel where you can purchase a wide variety of different things such as rocking chairs displayed out on their patio, toys, board games, clothes, candy, fine China, ornaments, CD’s, jewelry, lip balm, candles, and so much more! This is a really convenient way of letting time fly by for the customers if they have a longer wait time for seating– you won’t get bored browsing here and there, which I think is fantastic, and they also make merchandise sales while they’re at it. Their gift shop is highly festive for the holidays and I think the prices for their large stuffed animals are such a big steal! If you ever want to purchase a large stuffy for a child or your girlfriend, I would suggest coming here. They look pretty cute and only $ 12.99 for something more than half my body size! I bought my adorable pink bunny here during Easter and I love her so much. I’ve also seen bears, pandas, horses, cows, giraffes… But they sell different animals each time, so if you see something you like or know someone who would like it, then I would recommend buying it on the spot after you eat. You can even ask them to hold it for you if there’s only one left and you’re worried another customer will catch attention to it. In closure, I enjoy my visits to Cracker Barrel. They’re one of the more decent spots to come eat breakfast in the area and I would recommend them.

Been to this location a few times. Service is always good and pretty fast. Usually get the breakfast but they have a lunch menu too. Like any cracker barrel, theres usually a wait to be seated but its never been more than 20 minutes. Not much of a menu selection but food is good down south cooking

Absolutely the WORST restraunt experience ever! I really wanted to enjoy it since it was my first time, but the service here was beyond ridiculous. It took over 2 hours to receive my food, not to mention the failure to deliver refills or other neccessities. Service is always a big thing for me and this specific location I would give a zero. Don’t bother wasting your time eating here(if you even get to eat!). Horrible, horrible, horrible. I believe I’m a very nice, patient person and for me to even feel this way shows something. Please, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Horrible service. Don’t ever come here. Took 2 hours to get half the food out that we ordered. Missing side orders and workers just stood around while many customers were in need. Please go somewhere else other than this unorganized restaurant. Hands down, WORSTPLACEEVER.

Nostalgia at its finest. Since I born and raised in East Texas, the old and rustic appeal to me. At Cracker Barrel the food is reminiscent of the food I grew up with. For breakfast I recommend the«Country Boy Breakfast». It’s hard to go wrong with that. Also check out the gift shop/store; there are some great finds in there.

My favorite breakfast spot! i love everything here specially the hasbrown cassarole. My only complaint is that they are very stingy when serving the hasbrown cassarole. i always have to buy an extra side order of the hasbrown cassarole because they give you very little of it.

I was there the morning of the first college football playoff. No surprise, the place was filled with out of towners. I’d forgotten about that. Yet I was seated promptly. To be honest, I’m not a fan of «home cooking.» If I can fix at home, why go out? This is my first visit to this Cracker Barrel. Honestly, I was impressed. I’m an omelette lover but none were on the menu. So I asked my courteous & helpful waitress. I could get an omelette & hash browns & a side of cream gravy too. No extra charge for the gravy. She also brought the grits which I’d said earlier I didn’t want. ICK! No problem. She took them away. All in all a very nice experience. I might go back for dinner or lunch sometime. As long as they keep the grits away! Ha!

I arrive for lunch today greeted by an empty hostess stand… wait there for a few minutes before being seated and it’s a good 5 minutes before we are even acknowledged by a waitress. OK, not that big of a deal but we place our drink orders and then sit there for 10 minutes without getting drinks or having our orders taken. At this point my lunch hour is halfway over and I am sitting at an empty table and my order has not been taken. I’m not the kind to make a big deal to people that handle my food… I don’t want that«chef’s special» if you know what I mean, so I decide to just walk out and head down the street to Jersey Mike’s.

I’m also a longtime fan of Cracker Barrel. The atmosphere is excellent and the food is wonderful! The waitstaff is friendly and service is great overall. While it was fairly just while I was here, they were still able to take care of everybody really well and keep everyone satisfied – that’s fairly important considering its close proximity to Six Flags. I had the Campfire Beef, an item they’re promoting on the menu. I was totally filled to satisfaction by the portion size, the food was flavorful, and my glass never sat empty for long! If I’m in the area, I totally plan to come back again!

Longtime fan of Cracker Barrel here, just reporting on the Arlington location ;) We’ve stopped at their place all over the US when we’re craving a homestyle, tasty breakfast. Arlington’s spot is no different. We came in on a Saturday morning expecting a long wait but were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. I should mention, here, that I absolutely love the adorable trinkets and house décor they offer inside their store– I always check it all out and pick up a thing or two when I come. I love the friendliness of the servers and hostesses. They have great suggestions for meals, so if you just can’t decide between things(as I often do) just let them know. Last time we came, I enjoyed turkey sausage, eggs, and biscuits. I recommend their eggs-in-a-basket, bacon, biscuits, and grits. Mmmmmm. Honestly, I’m usually not a breakfast person but when I actually do want it, this is one of the spots I know won’t let me down. I only knocked a star off for lack of more healthy, and varied, fruit options. It would be nice.

First time here so I was surprised to be walking into a convenient store! We’d just beat the breakfast/lunch crowd so it didn’t take long for us to get a table. Their breakfast/lunch menu is huge so prepare to be overwhelmed if you’re a noob like me. My bf and I ended up ordering the sunrise samplers and the Cracker Barrel country boy sampler. 3 words: TOOMUCHFOOD! Either of the sampler could’ve been/should’ve been shared. It was a lot of food! Im not a fan of the hash brown casserole so I changed it to regular hash. Not a fan of grits but they don’t allow subs, so they charged me half the price of a second hash to substitute it. The apples were sweet and delicious, kinda like eating an apple pie without the pie. I thought the gravy was mediocre, bland, and under-seasoned. That’s probably the only negative. Food is good, atmosphere is great, the space is quirky, and the staff was friendly. I will be back.

Dear Cracker Barrel , I hate to do this but you’ve left me no choice. I’m breaking up with you. I’ll always remember the good times. The warm fluffy biscuits, Sunday fried chicken dinner and the dumplings. I will no longer tolerate the inefficient seating and long wait for a table. You did not say my name. You got rid of the low carb menu. The waiter was friendly but our simple eggs and bacon breakfast took forever to arrive and the eggs were cold. All I expect from you is eggs cooked the way I ordered it, in reasonable time and delivered hot. We are done, lose my number.
