Stopped in and tried Cumino’s. I don’t really have a lot to say about the place. It’s just kinda bland, tasteless food. Pricing isn’t too bad, but I still felt a little like I’d paid too much for the kind of sloppy, tasteless filling in my taco. Nice guys behind the counter, though.

Wonderful local place with very friendly folks who aim to please. We had the Carnitas, chicken fajitas, and a taco Al Pastor. . and will order all of those again. I can’t wait to return and try other things on the menu. No need to drive across town to Fuzzy’s so often, I like this place just as much or better. Great beans, good rice too. Low prices. Admittedly I’m a little early to write this review, having only been there once, but I plan to return very soon. An observation — one of the other review mentioned the horrible phrase«I like Taco Bell» and then rated Cumino’s 2 stars. I am without speech. .. .

took the family here for lunch after church, its close by and I like to spend my money on local businesses. OK, first impression is this its clean and neat and I was hoping the food was as good as the reviews said it was… unfortunately it was not all that, here’s my break down 10 being the best I ever had, here’s my list for Cumino’s chips-3 store bought chips? really, they are too easy to make in house guys hotsauce-7 only because the small dish only held about 4oz. salsa verde-4 tortas-9 the best thing on my visit, pork was good rice-3 beans-8 tortillas-2 no taste, and had the lard spots all over them carne guisada-5 only because no gravy, no gravy its just pot roast, sorry guacamole-8 was fresh and had a homemade taste I can only give 2 stars for this quality of food, its too bad because the place was clean, nice menu and the people that worked there were very nice. I say go for yourself and try something other then what I had and judge for yourself.

We were so glad to see another independent Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood and couldn’t wait to try it. Well it was worth the wait. After two good reports from friends, we tried Cumino’s and the staff was very courteous and the food is fresh. Yummy red and green salsas and there is menudo on weekends, caldo every day. I have tried the menudo, the tacos, breakfast eggs n choriso, and I highly suggest the fajitas by the pound– more than enough to feed 2 people and no gristle on the beef. The rice is moist and the beans are flavorful as well. Cuminos is open until 8pm which is great for dinner and there are lunch specials on Friday. Get on the email list to find out what they are. See you there!

First of all, the people that run this place are about the nicest and most accomodating folks around. Everything I have eaten here has been great. I am a huge fan of the carnitas! Simply fantastic. My husband is crazy for the caldo. Chicken enchiladas and the special black bean nachos are also wonderful. Have not had breakfast there yet, but it’s on my «to do «list. FYI: ordered a pan of the chicken enchiladas to take to grieving family… simply delicious, very reasonable, easy for me! Please support local non chain restaurants!

We just had dinner at Cumino’s for the first time and LOVEDIT! So much better than a chain and everything we ate was really good. They even have fresh Agua Fresca. We will be telling others and happily coming back.

This was the most horrible food I think I have put in my mouth. My daughter and I decided to try it out. They had no chips or hot sauce. We ordered a plate of the Cheese Enchiladas and a Crispy taco plate to share. We ordered the food and as we sat down, less that 5 minutes later the food was at our table, this can be great if you are in a hurry, but the food reflected on the lack of effort that was put into it. The enchiladas were hard as a rock on the outside, but the cheese inside was still cold and shredded and not even melted. The rice had no flavor, the beans were mediocre. The Taco meat tasted like burned beef scrapped off the bottom of a skillet. The establishment had no identity, and the employees there didn’t appear to know what they were doing and appeared very nervous. I will never go back to this place again.

I will definitely return! We had good mexican food… carnitas taco, carne guisada taco, chicken fajita torta, quesadilla. All were very good. And fresh, as the name promises! I had the chicken fajita torta and the bread was fresh and delicious, the chicken was especially good… surprisingly delicious. And the best– they have a drive thru so I can pick up a quick dinner without unloading the kids.

We have no reason to go out our way to return here. I wanted a taco salad.(I like Los Jarros taco salad b/c they make the taco bowls, but I alway get sick after I eat them. Luis does not get sick at Los Jarros.) They did not have this. I wanted flautas. They did not offer them. I like Taco Bell. I love Taco Bell’s new crunchy burrito. I got(3) tacos from Cuminos and I was not impressed with the flavor. Luis was not impressed either. He did not like the green salsa. One diner came up to our minivan while we were eating and said how she just loved the freshness of Cuminos, but we were not impressed,
