Food is awesome and the customer service is great. Found out about this place from another airport employee. Definitely worth the little walk to get to them. Their fried wings are out of this world.

If the architects of the Bat Cave were into restaurant design, then DCA Bistro would have been their project. That’s right Gotham Crusaders! Only airport employees and cab drivers know about this little gem. Open to the public, it is located next to Terminal A at Reagan National Airport. It is actually on the ground level of the parking garage for taxis. Make your way to the glowing light and counter in the left rear. So what’s good? A lot of things. They have extended hours. I prefer the Butter Chicken or the Steak and Cheese. I have eaten the steak the most. The sub bun is buttered, then grilled on the flat iron. Seasoned beef similar to gyro is sautéed with onions, pepper, and cheese. It is similar to a Philly Cheese steak, only better! There is just enough cheese. The fries are coated with a flour mixture, then fried. They are crispy. But I actually prefer them cold with extra salt. This is a simple dish that keeps the regulars coming back. So if you are traveling through the airport and want a good meal or snack at less than«airport prizes», you must give them a try. Be adventurous, after all you are flying through the sky. Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel!
