Deck N Fence

A little late in reporting but Deck N Fence did a wonderful job, the price was reasonable and the service was outstanding. WInther, my installer was very friendly and extremely accommodating. Said gave me a quote which was very competitive and followed up without being annoying. Will definitely recommend and return for additional work when necessary.

I hired them to take down the replace the old fence/​gate with a new, larger automated gate and fence, to create parking in our backyard (row house). The dimensions of the gate are wrong (too short) and there is not enough room to park our cars through the gate. My SUV is unable to get in and out of the space and is garaged elsewhere.
We asked to create a mirror image of the neighbor’s gate. Clearly, he (Said, the contractor) did not take any measurements b/​c the current gate is about 2 ft short! This problem with the gate dimension was brought to the contractor’s (Said) attention at the time of install and was dismissed. There are also additional problems with the gate – one of the arms doesn’t open fully and the electronic component is partially exposed (the plastic covering is sized wrong).

Since the install 2 months ago, we have been trying work with him to fix the problem without success. They want me to pay more and upfront before they start to address the problem. There are also long delays between email responses and story changes with call.

Deck N Fence did an excellent job with our recent fence rebuild. Said and his team replaced a rickety fence in our rowhouse backyard with a beautiful cedar fence, and tore down a deck to replace with a smaller landing. The work was excellent; we had one small issue with a sloppy board but the issue was fixed promptly and at no cost; beyond that, the fence and landing seem sturdy and well-​built. The team was professional and timely, the office was responsive for scheduling, and the price was very reasonable. We would absolutely use Deck N Fence for any future work.
