This location is alright. There wasn’t any bread prepared when we got there and had to wait a while to get some. The prices are about the same as any other bbq place. I’d prefer a local place instead. However, kids eat free on Sunday’s and Wednesday night night which is a plus.

They have a drive thru. And I’m lazy. 4 stars! Fantastic at catering. They give you pie. I love pie. Dickey’s is cheaper than Spring Creek. I could do without the teenage girls attitudes at the drive thru, but I was a horrible teenager, so I’m sure I deserve it.

Cheap and delicious BBQ with some fantastic options. Perhaps I may not be the best judge of BBQ in Texas coming from BBQ-starved Washington DC, but our group really enjoyed Dickey’s and came here twice for lunch during a brief stay in the area. The BBQ sauce is very tasty and they offer a great choice of sides(mashed potatos, green beens, mac n cheese, fried okra). They are quick as we were able to get our food in minutes. You can choose from 4BBQ sauces and you get plenty of options to fill you up for $ 10-$ 15. I’m already craving more!

Too expensive for what you get. $ 30 for 2 — 2 meat plates with 2 sides and a drink. The meat portion I got turkey and brisket(3 extremely thin slices of turkey and 5 slices of brisket {about 2 inches long and ¼ inch think}). The sides portions have not changed but this is ridiculous for $ 15 a person. Also the flavor is extremely lacking.

With everyone’s pictures all over Instagram seeing someone post a picture of Dickey’s Pork and Tangler Baker made me want to go there instantly because my mouth was watering. LOL it was though, ok don’t judge. I’m not a Texas native so to me my favorite meat is Pulled Pork, going to North Carolina all my life every year for vacations you had no choice. So let’s just say I talked 3 of my friends from work on getting lunch here and we were pleasantly surprised. And even better on Friday here at this location they had a deal with a baked potato with meat and he fixings with one of their big yellow cups for $ 6.99. So we all thought, win-win right? Yep! Go there and get yo Texas on! Quick, easy and friendly people and it hits the spot!

I was greatly disappointed with the food on our last visit here. The ribs were dry and the brisket was mediocre. My wife said the turkey was straight outta the supermarket deli and she couldn’t keep eating it. I still love the potato salad here. It’s my absolute favorite. The sauce is nice too. So all that said, it seems to me like it’s just this location and I don’t think we will return with so many better options in Arlington.

The food here is great, but what stands out even more to me is the service! Every time I come here, the staff is just so nice! They’re friendly and helpful, and they’ll even let you sample something if you’re not sure you’ll like it. I think every establishment should strive to provide such excellent customer service. I will definitely keep coming back!

People here are super nice. Stopped by for a family pack on mother’s day and was handed a rose for the significant other. Food is excellent and you can’t stop your mouth from watering if you’ve taking it home with you :)

I’m not sure why everyone else had negative experiences here. This is my favorite place to go get barbecue with my dad. Though it’s pricey, the food is always really good — especially the ribs, rolls and Mac and cheese. Also when you dine in there is free ice cream!

About once a month, the wife picks up Dickey’s to go. I hate BBQ sauce as I believe it should not go on BBQ. She always picks up a XL family pack. Ribs, sausage, and brisket, this last time. We have tried it all and tried all the sides. For the price, very average. The ribs have good flavor, but not a lot of meat. The brisket is always dry to me and the sausage is OK. We had our last meal here, two weeks ago…

Not good at all. Should be ashamed to serve this garbage in Texas and call it barbecue. Meat was dry and crumbling, ribs were dry and tasted old, sausage tasted like stuff you buy at grocery store, sides had no flavor. And to make it worse the tea tasted like it had not been changed in days. Much better barbecue around for a better price.

Hi All, So I have visited this area outside Dallas several times for work. There are several places nearby that my clients said are worth the comparison. I have been to Dickeys 3 times and Spring Creek Barbeque 3 times over the past two years. I have to say… that Dickeys is far better quality food and nicer environment to eat for a traveler like me. Spring Creek seemed nice for family style. My assessment is that the brisket and ribs were not in the same class as Dickeys. Overall, I have still had much better BBQ in Dallas and other areas, but for a quick cheaper meal, Dickeys is a decent place to go. I would go again. MSZ
