I don’t know what those previous reviewers are talking about. I came in this store today(after my DELICIOUS bubble tea) and even though I had a big messenger bag, was looking pretty disheveled after working 36 hours, and heading straight to the clearance racks, I was greeted very warmly. I was told to take advantage of the great sales and then left alone to browse. When I had about 4 items in my hand the sales associate(her name was Queenie) reappeared and asked if I wanted to try them on and then took them to the fitting room for me. After grabbing a few other items she took me to the fitting rooms and let me know I could let her know if I needed anything. I definitely took my time trying things on(I really really don’t need more clothes… but I couldn’t resist more professional clothes at half the price). I was checked on once to see if I did need anything. When I came out I didn’t see Queenie, but when I went to the check out counter that sales associate was just as nice to me. She asked if I wanted to open a store credit card, quickly explained the benefits, but when I declined she didn’t push it. She applauded me for my savings and bagged everything up(earrings in a small bag, and the dress and tank top in a bigger bag). I have zero complaints and would definitely return here. It was a great experience! Oh and I would normally never write things about race, but since both previous reviewers mentioned it, I want to note that I’m a very young looking Caucasian female and both sales associates were African American women.

This is the worst Dress Barn store I’ve ever been in. The customer service is awful unless you are clearly of a certain«type» and then they bend over backwards for you. I’ve seen them jump up all smiles to help certain people, but I’ve stood there like I’m invisible and then treated like I’m bothering them to have them ring me up. Call me crazy, but I think ALL customers should be treated courteously — not certain types the staff feels friendly toward. In my opinion, I think they may be doing something sneaky with peoples perk points. On two occasions I’ve seen them brag about«getting her points» after a customer has walked away — evidently when a customer(mostly tourists or foreigners) may not understand how the point system works. I think it’s unethical for employees to be benefiting from customers points. To make it worse, when I’ve tried to redeem my own points, they gave me a hard time or told me the system wasn’t working and I could«leave the points with me and I’ll credit it to your account.» I think not. If you need to go to a Dress Barn go to the one in Franconia — much nicer, larger store and very professional, helpful staff.

I was helping my mom find a dress to wear for a wedding and I’m a male and needed some perspective and the ladies there were very helpful. Apparently the AC was out so they had bought some cold waters for customer. The coupon we had didn’t apply to our purchase but the women who worked there had an extra one she used for us.
