WORST customer service EVER! Filed a claim on the 5 year warranty we bought when we bought our furniture in 2011. August 4, 2014, we filed a claim. It is 10÷18÷14 and it’s still not fixed. Our mechanism broke on our recliner. Have made several calls to Freed’s to get the same story«Sorry, the ship hasn’t sailed from China, and won’t until they have a full container». We are told EVERYTIME we call it will be another 4 to 6 weeks. Hopefully it will be fixed before the 5 year warranty runs out. BEWARE– if you buy from Freed’s, they DONOT care what happens to your furniture after it is delivered. It WILL take forever for your furniture to get fixed. Oh, make sure you ask to read what the warranty covers BEFORE you purchase it because we were lied to. The sales person told us the warranty will cover everything, even if you have a pet that scratches your leather, they will replace it.

Dear Mr. Freed, There are several things I wanted to let you know about: 1. We(my husband and I) have been in and out of your Arlington store several times in the last couple of months. We have always dealt with Heath Fry as our sales rep. We were honest with him and told him we were just starting our look for bedroom furniture and would not be looking to purchase til Mar/Apr. He was always helpful and not pushy. We narrowed our search to Weir’s and Freed’s and Heath was aware of this, again he was not pushy but very helpful. On Sat. 3⁄8 we revisited both stores and decided to go with Freed’s(cost being our deciding factor). We realized we would need a mattress for our king bed and Heath was very knowledgeable and patient as we debated which mattress was right for us. Heath was quick in writing our order, expedited our payment, and reassured us he was available to help in any in the future. He seems to really care as he asked us to call him and tell him when we recived our delivery. On the day of delivery, 3/13, after the delivery guys had left and my company was gone I was able to really look over the furniture only to discover that one of the night stands was defective(the drawer won’t open and it sets cockeyed). I needed to run some errands so I just stopped by the store to tell Heath. He was quick to call customer service for me. As I was getting ready to leave the Monday if I did’nt hear from them. I soooo appreciate this kind of help, attention, and aftercare. We will continue to shop Freed’s in the future and will suggest the Arlington store, morespecifically, Heath, to our sphere of influence. 2. On the day of delivery, Duke and Fai(Fia?) on truck 5, were the gentlemen who carefully delivered our furniture. These men were very respectful, kind, and oh so careful with our new bedroom set. They even offered to move a chest for me that was not part of the agreement/responsibility. I declined their help with it, but thanked them very much. You have wonderful men working for your company and these 2 delivery men furthered the good experience we have had with your company. 3. We LOVE our bedroom set(Brookfield) and mattress set(Sterns & Foster). The quality is excellent, the style is beautiful, and the pricing was wonderful!(we were able to take advantage of a wonderful sale). We will continue to look to Freed’s for our future furniture needs. AND we will highly recommend the Arlington store to those that we know, more specifically, Heath. It is my hope in sharing this that the above mentioned employees will receive some sort of recognition for their wonderful service. Blessings, Shelly
