Gamestop

While I’ve gotten mixed impressions of Gamestop employees at other locations, that has NOT been the case at Pentagon City Mall. Ryan (who I believe is the manager there), is very knowledgeable and helpful, and he and his other employees make great recommendations. The staff at this location also makes a genuine effort to get to know its customers, and I’ve never had a reservation go missing or anything else go wrong with a purchase. Even though I live in Rockville, MD, I go the extra distance to Gamestop’s Pentagon City location for this excellent service.
This location is also kept clean and organized (the games have always been in alphabetical order in various displays, despite the heavy traffic) and the demo booths are always operational and in good repair.
I highly recommend this location if you live in or around Arlington/​Alexandria, VA.

I don’t come here often but I’ll stop by every once in a great while to get a game or gift card. The place can be a crowded zoo since it’s in the mall and sometimes a hard core gamer talks video games with the employees for 10 mins while the rest of us are in line. Prices on new games seem to be just okay but if you want to buy used games the prices seem pretty good and I’ve never had any issues.

So when I went to pick up Call of Duty: Black Ops II, the employees working the front desk, Tyler and Janine, were extremely helpful, pleasant, and had great customer service skills.
In other words, they weren’t douchebags. Hopefully they will be working if and when I go back to this store.
