This is a cute, little neighborhood park located in North Arlington. It has a nice parking lot and a gate to keep your little flight risks at bay. I wouldn’t call this a «spray park», as some have suggested, more like a splash pad; it’s very small. Bursts of water shoot out of the ground in 5 – 10 minute intervals. There is also a nice playground area and sandpit for the few minutes when the water jets are off. Lots of friendly families here and plenty of parking. I wouldn’t come out of my way for this but I can see how this would be a nice neighborhood hidden gem for families to walk to.

I like this playground because it’s big and it’s a spray park. I love that it has plenty of equipment for my 2 year old to play on. The playground has plenty of shade and bathrooms!

Arlington, VA
Hayes Park has a large playground, a couple tennis courts, some grassy areas a picnic pavillion and, most importantly, a «spray-​ground» water feature during the summer months. Very nice park.
