I have never really frequent bars before until I decided participate in pub trivia. Of course I really enjoyed the trivia, but over time I had grown to love the bar. The staff is wonderful. Well at least the service staff because I don’t get to see or meet the cooking staff. Although the food turns out very good and they are very flexible on how you like it to be prepared. Overall I really enjoy this pub and if I really could become a regular, I would. It is definitely a place to check out. Even if it is only for trivia.

Not one bit happy with this place! A bunch of friends(9 in total) and me came into this place in the night to have a great time. They do not care one bit about their customers! After being served 5 pitchers of beer and one round of shots they refused to give us more alcohol saying we were all too drunk. We were also falsely accused of throwing up in the toilet. This guy by the name Keith was very arrogant and cussed a lot. That is not the way you talk to people. And for some reason he kept saying he would call the cops! Hopeless service! We are responsible enough to know when we’ve had too much to drink and the bartender is no one to act like a parent! Ridiculous! None of my friends or me are ever going back here. Not recommended to any UTA students if you want to have a good time!

NOTATALL A COLLEGEBARGUYS!!! If you need someone to parent you this is the place to go… the bar tenders have no clue what customer satisfaction is! I always wondered In spite being so close to the UTA campus this place is so dull and not at all happening all the time and now I know the reason. the staff here are rude and arrogant… they try to loot customers by saying we dirtied the toilets by throwing up(we had just finished 4pitchers among 9 of us) and tries to threaten you by bringing up cops in every half a sentence they speak… On the whole none of friends or me are ever wanna go back there. nor we recommend it to anyone…

An Arlington classic! Half pound charbroiled burgers that are buy one get one free on Tuesdays AND really cheap drinks. Perfect pub atmosphere and frequent live music. My favorite college hang!

So I went yesterday(04/12/2016), and forgot my headset at the table. When I called up, Keith said they didn’t find any. I was a 100% sure I forgot it at the table, so I personally went back today… A young lad came up and said«We did find the headset last night, but we thought it was broken and so threw it in the trash». Common be real. You couldn’t keep it for 24 hours? You guys are genuinely not good people. This speaks about your service. And the bill had 18% gratuity? This place is a rip off for just some ok food. UTA students, keep going to Twisted root instead !

One star for the bad service. A few girlfriends and I came in last night for half price burger. The waitress(don’t recall her name) informed us that the Tuesday special only applies if we ordered other beverages other than water. So I ordered a White Russian; which I had ordered once before and they came in a tall glass rather than short like I’m used to. I asked for a short this time, and the waitress FAILeD to inform me that the price would be the same regardless of the size. Had I known, I would have had order something else instead, because I don’t have high alcohol tolerance. When the bill came out, I asked her about it her response was that they weren’t gonna cut the price because I asked for a short. I found that was rude and inconsiderate of her to have not informed me that the price would be the same. On top of that, there was an 18% gratuity charge for a table of 4 without disclosing to us in advance! I’ve worked in the restaurant business; it normally applies to a big party of 8+. I had came here previously with a party of 4 and there was no automatic gratuity charged. This was done out of discrimination for either the fact that we are students and had asked about the half price special or the fact that we’re a minority. There was no real excuse for charging an automatic gratuity on a small party. It is unfortunate, because this place actually has good food. However, they will not be receiving my service in future. ETA: The waitress name is Sara. UTA offers a Services marketing class in the college of business, consider signing up for it.

This place is really a find. The fish/chips were crispy and hot, the burger was delicious. The garlic parmesan fries were so addictive we could not stop eating them. The great news is that they understand how to do Gluten Free food correctly including a dedicated fryer, servers and an owner who know what they are doing. So we can bring our daughters, who have Celiac Disease, here with confidence. Great, attentive, friendly service. This will be a go-to restaurant for us in Arlington.

Looks like an «English» pub, feel like an «English» pub, many beers on tap like an «English» pub, even more beers in bottles/cans like an «English» pub: then you open the menu and it’s not an «English» pub LOL But that’s not a bad thing: good basic bar food fair, nothing bad, but I highly recommend you get the loaded French Fries appetizer(pour the dressing all over it first, don’t be a dipping wuss) and try the London Burger. Staff are very friendly.

Really great pub feel. It’s dark, dank, and loud. Friendly service, great selection of beer. Love my Chimay. So uh, they have a kid’s menu here. Bytheway!Didyaseethat$ 5.99chickenfriedsteaklunchspecialonMonday?DidyaDidya?

Love the ambience after the remodeling! $ 6 Ziegenbock Pitchers are a must try. The staff could be friendlier though.

Great casual bar that does a decent job capturing the English Pub atmosphere. It’s a small, but service is usually good and the burgers are tasty.

Really love the ambiance in here, it definitely feels like what you’d expect an English Pub to feel like. Intimate, dark, cozy, wooden floors/bar/tables/booths/chairs, a few pieces of stained glass that stand out, English themed décor, UT Arlington paraphernalia, friendly service, and a mellow crowd. When the weather is nice I’d advise sitting on the patio out front. It might only have a spectacular view of Wendy’s across the street, but it’s really cute and comfortable with white twinkle lights. The beer menu here is pretty nice, but I was disappointed in the lack of ciders for an English Pub. There’s only one cider on the menu, Ace Pear Cider, which isn’t exactly memorable for me. Not my drink of choice, but I didn’t have any other options(since I have Celiac’s) besides hard liquor or a handful of wines. I did, however, appreciate the fact that the menu has a plain as day«GF» next to all food options that can be made gluten free, and they even offer a GF bun for their burgers, which are supposed to be delicious. Definitely ordering a burger next time! On my last visit, my brother and I shared the garlic + parmesan fries which were pretty addictive, although they needed a touch of salt. They have a pretty good selection of appetizers(fries, wings, queso, hummus), and lots of them are available GF. Smoke free establishment, so it’s nice and clean and comfy inside. Excited to return.

Hard to find a better pub atmosphere in Arlington, Texas. The burgers are always and on target and the great selection of craft beers is a new plus. Patio is greatness and now they allow pet outside and no more smoking inside keeps me coming back for late night. Check it out soon.

Wen’t back a few times since sit re-opened. The food was great! There were some slight changes to the menu, but still has delicious rustic food. They have Vegan and Gluten-Free options for those people who have specific diets. The ambience is casual and it’s a great place to enjoy a beer and watch the game or hang out with friends. They have different types of specials throughout the week and on Saturdays they have a bar where you can create your own Bloody Mary. Definitely will continue to be a regular at this place!

The nearest bar n resto close by to my university. It’s more like a common hang out place for us… A hungry evening I rushed in to find something yummy to eat. N being a veggie day I ordered a loaded baked potato at first. I was awestruck wen I first saw the size, I presumed it to be baby loaded potatoes but it was a giant potato on my plate. Then I resumed to the present and digged into it and found it really tasty. The baked potato loaded with two types of grated cheese and topped with a sour cream. Then me n my Fren ordered a chicken sandwich platter and a veg burger platter. The day I went they had an offer of buy 1 burger platter and get another burger platter for free. N so I got one for take home as well. Then finally those plates filled my stomach and I was left with so much more to get it packed Overall Food taste 3.5÷5 Ambience 3⁄5 Quantity 5⁄5 Service 3.5÷5 Value for money 3.5÷5 Will definitely go back to try something new. !!!

I returned to the new Bentley’s tonight for the first time. We had a couple of delicious burgers and parmesan garlic fries. One down thing. The online link to the menu was not the new menu so when I ordered tater skins unfortunately they didn’t have them. They gave me onion rings. We fixed with the parm fries. Crowd was pleasant and I enjoyed waiting on a redo on the order. Bar staff was very attentive and professional. I’m going to be back as soon as I can talk my wife into burgers.

Great burgers, nice open area, much less«snug» since they remodeled. I kinda miss how rickety everything felt, but that takes time and people, so I hope plenty of people come and make this place well used! Staff is great, very efficient and they know their product. Always clean and well lit. One suggestion: for«Suggested Gratuity» at the bottom of your receipts, don’t mark 15% as «Poor Service». It’s not. It’s not excellent, but it’s not poor either.

I came here with a couple of friends to check out the place since they have recently reopened and it’s walking distance from UTA. We arrived 5 minutes before they opened and walked right in and seated ourselves. The ladies here are very inviting and friendly. Please don’t judge me for having a beer at 11am on a weekday! Ha so anyway I had a shiner and the JR Bentley special(basically a cheeseburger). My bill came out to be a bit over $ 13. Food is cheap but beer is expensive. I honestly wasn’t blown away or impressed at all. I was probably bitter about my $ 5 shiner(which is their cheapest draft beer). I don’t think I would come back as there are far too many options in this area with more competitive prices.
