I had the 8 oz Jimmy Jungle Burger w/fries and tea. The burger was GREAT. It was actually the best burger I’ve had in a long, long while. So, why 4 stars and not 5? The fries were a bit lacking. They were well seasoned with salt & pepper, but I’m 99% sure they came from a freezer bag, not fresh-cut. A couple of them also seemed like they could’ve used a TINY bit more heat. They weren’t cold, but they didn’t seem quite«done» either. All of that said, the burger was why I went and the burger was awesome! The restaurant is in a strip shopping center. It’s obviously not a chain restaurant. There are two pool tables in there, which gives it a bit of a bar /dive type of a vibe. I’ve only been there for lunch today. So, I have no clue what the place is like later in the day /evening. If you want a good old-school burger from a flat-top /griddle, with some grease and flavor, give this place a try! :) Picture to follow, but the colors didn’t turn out right. I have no clue why.

Today was my first time going this restaurant and the customer service was awful! The cashier had an attitude like he wasn’t concerned with exuding any customer service skills. The fries were a waste of calories, but the bacon cheeseburger was good. The cheesecake taste like it was store bought.

First time customer, had the Jungle Burger and some Fried Pickles and both were very good. Definitely the best burger in SE Arlington.

I tried this place out for the second time yesterday. There are not many places that deliver in my area. I didn’t feel like getting out yesterday and I had just ordered pizza the day before. The first time I ordered from here, I believe I had the Jungle Burger. Delivery time is 45 – 60 minutes and both times my food wasn’t really hot, but warm. So, I decided to order the catfish sandwich this time. There is a $ 15 minimum so I had to order something else. I ordered the shrimp in addition to the catfish sandwich. I was not impressed. The avocado on the fish sandwich was not good. I noticed it was brown around the area that would have surrounded the pit. It had a weird taste to it so I had to take it off the sandwich. I paid .75 cents for a slice of cheese and it wasn’t on the sandwich. I asked for pickles as well and that wasn’t included. The shrimp taste like breaded shrimp you buy at the grocery store and drop in the fryer. It just wasn’t good at all. I won’t order from them again. The burger wasn’t good enough for me to rave about either. I would actually rather go to Wendy’s for a burger. I really hated that avocado wasn’t fresh. There are plenty better burger places. Oh and the shrimp was just sad.

I ended up here because of the reviews. Needless to say I was not impressed. It took me three attempts to find a clean table, and this was before the lunch rush. Service wasn’t friendly. Burger was greasy.

Visiting Arlington on business. Ordered a Philly Cheesesteak to go, and I’m impressed. Solid sandwich.

Unilocalers you failed me on this one. 3 Stars for being cheap, clean and friendly. Also it’s pretty awesome if you have jr high kids maybe with the pool tables, video games music etc. having that been said I don’t even think kids hang out anymore in places like this certainly not in the big cities. All of that being said the burger and fries were on par with fast food. I don’t care if it’s out the side of a shady food truck or a ballroom it should be about the food first. Totally bland for sure, the«pink slime» meat companies must be making a killing in DFW. Nothing against this place as it is smack in the middle in comparison to other hamburger joints in the area.

Well I ordered the jalapeño cheeseburger and fries and for me, the burger is filling but didn’t possess anything outside a Braum’s burger(my favorite drive thru burger). The meat patty was thin but seasoned and unfortunately some of my fries weren’t cooked all the way(it happens). I wouldn’t go out of the way to come here but I’d pick it over jack in the box

Grabbed to go at lunch. Food was hot. Cheeseburger was good. There wasn’t anything extra special. There are tastier burger spots in the area. A decent choice in this area

One of the best burgers I’ve had in a longtime! I ordered the 8 oz Jimmy Jungle with sweet potato fries and a sampler of fried mushrooms, cheese fries, and fried jalepenos. I was not disappointed with a single bite, everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The sweet potato fries was seriously the best I’ve had, it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Cannot wait to come back.

I’ll start by saying I’ve only had it delivered only once. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. I was impressed that they cut out two corners of the to go box. This means my onion rings were still crispy! I liked that very much. Like others, I feel like my burger was overcooked. But it was still good. The onion rings are large and homemade. All in all, next time I’m in the mood for a burger and maybe feeling lazy, I’ll order from here. The delivery driver was so nice and courteous. I also plan on making a stop too try it fresher than delivery.

My type of place. Instead of focusing on the décor, they actually place focus on the food and cleanliness! A nice menu complete with pics of the burgers was the perfect introduction for this first-timer. I chose the Thousand Island burger with Seasoned Fries. Both items came out fresh and faster than I’ve been served in some fast-food restaurants with 3 times the staff! Although they didn’t have Coke on the fountain, they had cans to satisfy my specific preference for a Coke. That, in itself, pushed my thoughts closer to a 5 instead of a 4. But, without any focus on the décor, it’s not quite as good as it gets. Still well worth the visit. I’ll be taking the wife there next so she can tell me about the Fried Fish!

Not sure why this place gets so many 5-star reviews. Those of you who are calling it the best burger in Arlington have obviously not eaten at Mo’s or Fork in the Road! Ordered the Avocado Cheeseburger. It was good, but a little overcooked. Buns are packaged, ala Mrs. Baird’s. Fries were just OK. Atmosphere and décor were a little confusing with pool table and video games. Also a little confused about the lunch rush… see photo.

Had a burger craving and found this quaint burger joint on Unilocal. They offered sweet potato fries, which is requisite for me. They did not disappoint! The 4oz burger was perfect! Bun wasn’t too greasy, and neither were the fries. Will definitely be back!

It’s rare that I review a place on the first time around, but this is NECESSARY! I have read the other reviews of this place that are negative, but I want you to forget them immediately. I’m serious. I decided to try out this place, as I have lost my beloved burger joint and have been dying for a good burger. I researched the reviews and decided on definitely trying the curly fries and the Big Island burger, my boyfriend tried the Chipotle Burger. We were tempted on trying the Texas Toothpicks, but for $ 6.75?.. that’s a little high, and then the curly fries were a no-brainer. We walked in and immediately noticed a couple pool tables, with a family have a good time on one. A little odd, but cheerful nonetheless. You have to walk to the opposite side of the room to order, but it’s pretty obvious by the walk way of carpet rugs from door to counter. Once at the counter the menu board lists all of their items and prices, but there is a computer set up onto their website that lists photos and more information about all of their items. Confident on out choices, a friendly woman shows up and takes our orders. You get to choose between a 4 oz. patty and an 8 oz. patty, and she immediately suggested a combo that includes fries and a drink. Adding curly fries opposed to their seasoned french fries is $.60 extra. Our total for 2 combos, one 4 oz. and one 8 oz. plus curly fries on both came out to just under $ 20. It was a nice day so we decided to sit on their patio, which boasts 2 heavy-grade plastic park-style table/chair combination things. After about 5 minutes of chatting we realized they might call our name, but before we had the chance to check our food was brought out to us. Very nice! My 4 oz. Big Island burger was –for me– delicious in practically every way. With lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, mustard, grilled jalapenos, onions and mushrooms, and american cheese. With the perfect amount of toppings and spiciness, I was in love. The 8 oz. Chipotle burger certainly looked delicious, with all the usual toppings, plus grilled green bell pepper and chipotle sauce. Once I noticed that the chipotle sauce was REAL, ACTUAL chipotle I had to steal a bite. OMG! That sauce is what all chipotle sauces should aspire to be, without the unnecessary face-melting heat or obviously fake mayo base. A touch smoky and so yummy! I do have to point out that the boyfriend did say that he felt his patty was a bit overcooked, but not dry and still well-seasoned. I have noticed other reviews stating that they, too, had noticed over-cooked meat, but just as with other Unilocalers, this is DEFINITELYNOT a deal-breaker. It was my first trip, and definitely, DEFINITELY won’t be my last. I’m just sad it took me so long to try it out!

This place is very close to home and they deliver, so bonus! Anyway, we order from Jimmy’s fairly frequently… any time we are in the mood for a burger but don’t feel like cooking or going out. Staff is always wonderful… friendly and deliver quickly. Burgers are pretty good. They might be a bit over the top with the toppings, but we like tricked up burgers sometimes. We frequent some of the best burger places in Dallas(Liberty, Hopdoddy, Goodfriend) and while Jimmy’s may not be as high tone they make a pretty tasty burger! We will continue to order from Jimmy’s because we can always count on great service and a tasty burger!

Okay, Jungle Burger. Your name has piqued my interest and I’ve got a friend just down the street, so it’s time. Small place in a strip mall. Very clean with a pool table and a good amount of seating. There’s a monkey on the wall. It smells pretty good. The menu is both on paper and on a computer screen up by the counter. It’s been a long time since I used a mouse with a scroll-wheel. I was planning on getting the namesake Jungle Burger, but decided on something with a few less toppings(the Jungle Burger has it all, including the kitchen sink). Everything was nice and friendly with the food coming out fairly quickly Jalapeño Cheeseburger! The burger is good. Not bad at all. I may agree that it’s a little overcooked, but it tastes good and it went nicely with the peppers. The disappointment was in the fries. We had some sweet potato fries and spicy curly fries. The curlies were alright, but not at all spicy. Sweet potatoes were just there. It’s hard to imagine driving past better burgers to get here, but if I’m on south Collins and looking for a burger, this is a good spot.

OK, so after a lovely message from an unidentified employee of this establishment I would like to slightly edit my review. again just SLIGHTLY. Even after the message and edits, the fact remains we got sick after eating. Please try the place out if you like, I still will not be returning. Might I add the«employee» that sent the message to me has only two reviews on their Unilocal profile. both for this place and both 5 star reviews. interesting… Saw some good reviews on here and its close to home, so I figured I would try. BADIDEA. I walked in on a Friday night and the place is ALMOST empty– warning sign one when there is only one other table. The food took about 20 minutes to come out– even though it was only two burgers(Edit– the employee mentioned that they time stamp orders and it only took 17 minutes– however I’m a health care employee and had just left a 16 hour shift so it FELT like an extra 3 minutes, my bad. Also– I was corrected that there were to go orders and each burger patty is shaped and made to order which contributed to the longer wait time. I would not have expected the food as fast if there was maybe a funny little sign at the counter stating this– Similar to the one one I’ve seen at Twisted Root hint, hint) This did however give my OCD a chance to kick in and inspect how clean the place was– there’s your first star. The food came out hot so there is the other star. Edit– I would also like to add that I got a plain ol’ cheese burger and why– When I try a burger joint out for the first time, I like to just taste the meat in(hopefully) all its glory. I want to taste if the meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection before I pile on all those crazy toppings. While my husband had the signature Jungle Burger and loved it– I felt mine was overcooked, but seasoned well. Now this is where it gets interesting– good burger– nothing to swoon over, but good, but halfway thru… the tummy rumbles begin… both me and my husband. and not the«keep it coming» but the«this is a warning– get in the car and head home» rumbles. Needless to say– i will not be returning.
