I was in line waiting to get fabric cut, when there was an announcement that there had been a spill on some fabric from a child. The family in front of me happened to have a little child. It was their child that had found a bottle and started playing with it. So the little girl showed them the bottle she was playing with. A customer who I think is an employee as well cause she went behind the counter a few times, went up to the mom and gma and said «what your child did was wrong, just wrong. She ruined fabric that I had to get and now I have to wait» and then walked away shaking her head. After that the employee cutting her fabric… I think her name starts with an M continued to do so but was very rude and short with them. And they were buying lots of fabric. The other employees continued to talk to that lady about the child in front of the mom. I think the employees were right to correct the child but could

This store needs direction they have doorbuster sales with no large bags at check out. They have. No express lane at cutting counter at doorbuster sales. if you want one item you have to wait 2 to three hours then maybe stand in line at checkout 25 to thirty deep If your lucky you may get your material but pay for 4 ½ yards when you get four because they cant do the math You can go to wal mart and get anti pill fleece at 2.99 a yard everyday but at joannes you play the coupon game In this store you may be lucky to find four women who know what there doing and some of them are rude and not professional at all Dont try to return anything because its a hassle plus they may not take it back this store makes me ill everytime i go there it needs another manager i dont see how they stay in bussiness the problem is i need the material with no other option Its pretty sad and disgusting

Came in last week and I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so now. I had a sales women named Suzanne help me with a few questions I had regarding a garment I was making, and I felt like she couldn’t give a dame. I felt rushed and that I was just another face to her. I should mention that I come in quite often and while she is usually very rude I felt this instance was particularly bad. I don’t understand why they have someone like that working for Joann’s? She obviously didn’t like or care about what she is selling. All I needed was 5 minutes of her time, but no, she was «to busy» to actually help someone. It’s not like it’s your job?! Please get rid of her or at least hid her in the back.

I visit this JoAnn about 2−4x per month, so I have a number of experiences to draw from.
Pros: The staff are friendly and I am often asked how I am or if I need help locating what I’m looking for. The store is well-​organized and the restrooms are clean. They have a huge clearance section at the back of the store and I’ve had some pretty good finds.
Cons: Both the cutting counter and check-​out are just plain awful. There are never enough staff, and you can feel both the employees and waiting customers getting more and more frustrated.

Good selection of seasonal décor. As I write this review, it’s December and Jo-Ann’s already has their Valentine and Easter décor available. Good prices when discounts are coupled with flyer coupons. Text deals and Retail-​Me-​Not coupons also available.
I agree with Rose’s previous review that the line is typically 5 – 6 patrons long and there is only 1 cashier available. No attempt to call for back-​up and if the phone rings, beware that the wait will be even longer.
–1 star subtracted for excruciating wait
–1 star subtracted for unsanitary carts and a filth-​ridden shopping complex in general
–1 star because Jo-Ann’s is not as well stocked as similar establishments, such as Hobby Lobby.

Probably should re-​evaluate your customer service.
I was driving from Seattle to Arlington and called the store to check on an item I was interested in, someone answered and was checking on it as I was on hold patiently waiting… Then after minutes of waiting, an employee picked up the phone and hung up on me ON PURPOSE! WTH kind of customer service is that?
Then I called back and they had the audacity to tell me they were too busy to help me. Wtf.
I am a business owner and if I treated my clients like that I would suffer heavily from bad reviews. Social media isn’t a good thing when businesses treat clients horribly. Word spreads like wildfire and it stays on the internet forever.
Not that it would affect you since your a major corporation, but I would lose my business and this kind of customer service is extremely unacceptable.
