The food is great. The service was shit! Might add well just got up and served myself!

I’m always searching for the best crawfish that is spicy enough. This is right up there to Hot&Juicy Crawfish chain. Absolutely the best crawfish I found in the metroplex. I use to eat at the crawfish hut across the street but this is even better. $ 7.99lb and they are spicy and juicy af!

Absolutely love the food here. Services really lacks but the food makes up for the service. The o it thing I dislike is the service and waiting for them to come get your order. But seasoning is really good.

Stop by Joe’s yesterday with my daughters, around 3:30pm-4pm, only one other patron in the place. When we walked in there was 3 workers sitting down at the table, no one spoke to us for about 2 minutes and then a lady I guess the waitress finally gets up and seats us. The place was not very inviting to me, and not the cleanest either. Went in for crawfish and crab legs, with potatoes and corn, everything is sold separately, crawfish was $ 7.99 a pound, crab legs $ 15 a pound, with no sides. I wasn’t feeling that, so I think I will stick to Boiling King Crab on Arkansas Lane in Arlington, TX. Service is great, atmosphere great, food excellent and a better deal for your dollar!!!

I order the lemon pepper crab leg and they were good. You have to order them by the pound so if you want like a ½ pound they wont sell it to you. full pounds only. i also got a thing of shrimp fried rice… i didn’t really care for it something about it wasn’t right. The use small baby shrimp in the rice. i would go back just for the crab legs but that about it.

Horrible service. Walked in at 9:00 and was told to leave because they apparently close at 9:30 when there online hours says 10:00. When a customer walks in before closing, you service them. I don’t care if it’s 9:25. Until that front door shuts and locks, service is expected. Screw this place.

I am freaky freaky when it comes to crawfish and crab! I LOVE Joe Cajun!!! They have raised the bar on crawfish. Since I’ve been HERE, I have a whole new standard for crawfish. They do it right. Very tasty and perfectly cooked. It is worth every inch of my 15 mile drive to get there! Go getcher self some mud bugs, man. Whatcha waitin’ for? Chow!

I’ve been here for like the past 10 years and it’s never been that busy and usually filled with a lot of Asian people ordering Asian food. Sometimes at night it gets busy with families craving for crawfish but business was okay. However, this past weekend was craaazzzzyyyy! I don’t know if it’s because people are obsessed with crawfish now, but holy hell! PLACEISBOOMING! It’s a mixing pot up in here. I see mostly Mexicans and blacks customers now and it’s so so so busy, there’s always a line outside the door every minute. Food is still good, recipe never changed. The crawfish taste is still wonderful~ Asian style with the orange juice and garlic~~ I love it! The catfish platter is so moist~ love the portions. The size are big too!!! I LOVEITTTTTTTTT

Very good cajun cuisine. Their crawfish is always coom fresh and tasty. The shrimp size is so big and I like the way they cook it, very easy to peel.

Over the years, Joe Cajun has been declining in flavor and has left me feeling unsatisfied. Not only that, but the weight has been inconsistent. If it’s a slow day, I get less crawfish than what I asked for, if it’s a busy night, I get the amount I do. Poor service, however, they do ask me how was everything every time they ring me up. A little on the pricy side, but still a go-to at times!

I had high expectations when I came here and I came only for the crawfish. My expectations were totally met. The crawfish was fresh and some were so big they looked like baby lobsters. The flavor in their seasoning was very good and spicy. I got all three of their flavors mixed which was good but the garlic butter was a little overpowering. The crawfish was great but the corn was over cooked and the potatoes were so big they had to cut them in halves. This place is not as good as it gets, but still pretty darn good.

Everything was awesome. I asked for SUPER spicy garlic butter(I always emphasize SUPER when I order because some people think I’m bluffing and bring me mild…). ITWASSPICY. Wish it was more spicy as in seasoning and not as in the boil. If that makes sense? Also ordered Cajun fries and combo friend rice. Everything came out in a timely manner and they also gave us gloves when asked :) no complaints here.

Their service seems to be getting much better. It used to only have 1 or maybe 2 waiters/waitresses on weekends, but it seems like they’ve added at least 1 more person. The crawfish is always on point here. The flavor of the crawfish is always consistent. Most other places that I’ve tried, it’s hit or miss and I tend to miss more often. I also love that they have buy 5 lbs get the 6th free. Now that I’m a hungry hungry hippo due to breastfeeding, I can enjoy all 6 lbs to myself! I also love the cajun fries, fried alligator, corn, potatoes, crawfish fried rice(the best ever! I can eat 2 plates by myself). My in-laws love the fish noodle and the banh beo.

You know, the crawdads here are not too shabby! They’re a good size right now(February 10, 2016) and the garlic butter/Cajun sauce that comes on the side is decent. Crawfish run at around $ 7.99/lb right now and shrimp is a hilarious $ 11.99/lb. I have a high tolerance for spicy foods, and the x-tra spicy had too many holes in my face leaking fluid. I really, really enjoy the clams at Boiling Pots, so maybe my expectations were too high. The clams here were AWFUL. I’m pretty sure they weren’t cooked thoroughly, and they were unbelievably fishy. It was so nasty. I can’t believe we paid $ 7.99 for a pound(Unfortunately, menu says no take-backs). The service definitely needs help. They are family-owned by a very obvious ex-military Caucasian owner and his Asian family. His family serves the tables, and they are just so slow. I had to fight to make eye contact to try and get her attention without pissing her off(remember to never eff with people who handle your food). I witnessed a morbidly obese customer signal the number 2 to the owner(he wanted additional lbs of crawfish), and I’ll never forget this: the owner talks to him from across the restaurant, «I don’t know what that means. That means nothing to me.» LOL. Rightfully so. That’s the most annoying thing you can do to people in the food biz. Right outside, there is a no B.S. sign that says something along the lines of: «You’re welcome to BYOB, but once your meal is over, you are no longer welcome to continue drinking». No chillllll! It satisfied my crawfish craving, but for the love of all that is holy, do not get the clams. –xx

My favorite crawfish joint in Arlington. Current promotion is buy 5 pounds and get 1 free. The reason I give them four stars instead of five is their restroom smells bad. The scent is a bit disturbing and can chase an appetite away. I hope it gets fixed soon.

I loooove the crawfish here! We usually come during crawfish season and it’s always fresh and tasty! The shrimp fried rice is also very good. Giving a 4 star because of the service. It isn’t always the best but it gets the job done. Our order is correct and we get our food fast.

Absolutely disgusting. The worst seafood I have ever eaten and the customer service was worst than a Brooklyn Chinese food lady yelling at you. I order a seafood gumbo and let me tell you when it came out it had PORK in it which I ask led before ordering if it had. When I asked guy to take it back he claimed I still had to pay for it, which I didn’t give a damn, take that nasty ass green glop and dry ass rice away from me. I order the crawfish and a order of crab legs medium spicy with garlic butter. Digesting the crab legs tasted like sour oranges. The crawfish was OK. The corn was freaking frozen corn pretended to be steam without salt butter nothing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to seafood lovers. I feel they need a health inspection. How about close down please.

First visit to Joe’s Cajun was with a local… The restaurant was a bit chaotic while waiting for a table but when we finally got seated everyone at the table decided on a 1lb bag which I totally regret because I forgot crawfish are mostly shells so really should’ve order 2 lbs instead. It did take an extremely long time to prepare it was maybe a little more then 45 mins before we finally got food. Lucky for us my table mate ordered fries to start off. But it was worth the wait the crawfish were fresh and the shells were soft so it wasn’t difficult to get to the claw meat even though they are tiny. The flavor was buttery, spicy and delicious very garlicky. The tail meat wasn’t over done and mushy it still had bite. This snack set me back about 8.00+tax and tip. The second time… after learning my lesson that you always need more crawfish this time I ordered 2 lbs and corn… OMG corn best decision ever because it soaks up all the delicious goodness of the crawfish boil. This time my wait wasn’t too long but it we also went in the late afternoon which isn’t exactly peak hours. Overall Joe’s Cajun gets the stars in my book because even if your waiting for the crawfish is actual pretty darn tasty. I do have to mention that corn, potatoes and sausage are all additional that do cost extra. Corn on the cob about .80 each boiled potatoes(3) are about $ 2.19. Also if your not a crawfish fan they do have a few Vietnamese dishes. But it’s kinda known for crawfish lol but you can also order other seafood items also boiled or fried.

Love crawfish season! This place has super fast service and has consistent flavors and spice every time I go. Stumbled across this place a few months ago and this is my new holy grail for crawfish. If you like Boiling Crab, just come here, honestly not a fan of the 3 hour wait there and this place is just as good if not better! Definitely faster service that’s for sure… so you are gonna get your food within 20 – 30 mins of less while everyone else is starving to death waiting in line at boiling crab. Also, they have a bunch of flavors to choose from which you can also just tell them to combine them all(which I prefer because it works really well together) and the spice is great! From mild to super spicy. Their Cajun Fries are really crispy too. Only other comment is that the corn and potatoes and stuff are separably priced if you want it added to the the crawfish.
